Great achievement. Yes, there are ways to change multiple pictures. Do some searches on Youtube and see if you find a method you like. Some require copying the code they provide.

For some reason when I lift and tip the phone to get more of an overhead shot it doesn't work well. I guess I need more practice.

so do I..isn't it hard to capture the real look?..not to sound conceited but sometimes I feel like my pictures don't do my garden justice..they say practice makes perfect..so I'll keep trying..

I tried to get a little higher to show the leaves better. My garden is spread out and rustic, it would take photoshop to make it look pristine, but I like it, if others do then all the better. If they don't they are free not to look.

my garden is rustic but I've planted perennials, shrubs and trees to add privacy and beauty to my woods..I guess what I was trying to say is that I wish I could get more of my garden in a single picture..I say feel free to share whatever garden pics that you like..

Nichol, my new cell phone, Samsung, has a Mode selection for photos which gives a Panorama option. When set in this mode it will produce a wide panoramic photo. You hit the 'button' then scan to get a wide angle photo. hitting the 'button again establishes the end. If you take a long sweeping shot you lock on the photo with a right click to move it back and forth across a wide view. The view that doesn't have to be scanned might give you photos you like. I have no hope that the type of photo that you push and pull would ever download on this site.

thanks Jon..my Samsung phone isn't new (1.5 yrs old) but it might have that feature..I'll check it out..and you're so right that Houzz has issues loading pics..

Go to Play Store search for LIT PHOTO see Lit Photo Compress and Resize

Download the free app. Rated 4.8 out of 5.0 Has green background with a white feather/leaf symbol.

1. Take picture, open Lit Photo, select Resize (later you can compress and crop)

[note: on second use you may have to use back arrow to get to this] screen

2. Touch one or more pictures. Done, touch check mark at top right

Leave defaults as is for now until you are more familiar with software

1. Touch START It will resize and show you the path where photo is stored
2. Open GardenWeb Make post Click on path where photo(s) stored. VOILA`

Great to see you posting, Jon! my anticipation builds when I see threads posted by you. Your pictures above and plants are amazing and there is always something new and intriguing, whether it be plant life or statue or bench, etc. etc. I’m so curious about the serpentine shaped bed with ChaChas/Sagae etc. It’s been a couple of years of growth. Everything growing to your liking so far?

Josephine, the Cha Cha's are doing well, one of the three Frosted Jade is doing well, one is small and one has gone to Hosta Heaven. I need to get some fill-ins to make it presentable. Something greener as only one FJs is getting enough light.

I think I should put one or two (most likely) more lines inside the CCs, move the two Frosted Jades and then plant some big green monsters (maybe a cluster of 3) at the centerline of each curve. It is definitely not at all impressive as of now. It should be impressive if, when I get around to it (maybe next spring).

Thanks Kathy, between the rocks and the roots of the Canadian Hemlocks it is a tough environment. I hope my improvements do well. I have some other more mature 'wild' hosta and I will plunk them to fill in.

I also have 5 Patriots that have been in a poor spot for many years and simply exist. I'll put them in the best sunniest area and they should do well.

There are some big ones.

Over a dozen all over. These are going to be left where they are. Purists might not be impressed, but these catch the first morning light and look great.

As the line zigs into and out from under the dripline of the trees the difference in size is dramatic. The full green 'freebies' will be tough and contrast nicely with the light margin. If they don't do well, nothing will.

Nichol, I agree, but the Cha Chas looked like a thin line so the plan is to fill in the gaping holes with some that I think will handle the tough soil and shady conditions that won't break my heart or pocketbook if they don't make it. OOOPs, sorry I got on the Cha, Cha discussion. Yes, if it's broke don't fix it....whatever works best for you.

I understand..in our OWN garden we see where we need to tweak something to make it prettier..a plant(s) just doesn't sit right with us so we change it..it's what we do!!..and although we try to plan ahead it still happens that we need to work on it again lol..
