For everyone that helped me figure out what to do, or was interested...here is the sofa, with the cushions. YAY! And yes, the hanging stained glass artwork (which was a separate thread) has been returned home. <laugh> Now, I will be working on some french chairs I have hanging around. ;)

I like the blue. It is more interesting and different than everyone else has. Dark blue goes with as wide a variety of colors as any so don’t let that bother you. Not sure what kind of content the blue fabric has? Check that for durability. Go for it. You could use caramel, or tan , oranges, fuchsia, off whites, lime green just a whole bunch of interesting choices.

I agree Reena, not to mention the fact that leather is animal skin put through a process of toxic chemicals that seeps in to your home and those who use it. Most people have no idea where or from what animal they are sitting on, cow, sheep, dog, pig, horse, donkey? It is a cruel industry, like the fur industry and I wish people would educate themselves and not support it.
