Need the best set of instructions for PE Design 5
Comments (3)Stasia - there is a great series by Loes Van Der Heijden for each version of PE Design. I have v. 2.5 and found the CD extremely well done and helpful. I open PE Design and make it half screen size, then open the CD tutorial and make it half screen size, so I can see both at once. Here is a link that might be useful: Loes V. website...See MoreI suppose this is why I needed a kitchen designer-opinions needed
Comments (45)Nalcar, you're so kind to do all this. And wow, that's really dramatic! The moldings are not so much to my taste, but the split up cabs with the top across is an interesting thought. On the right, though, the wall begins to curve just after the A/C and so I think it would take a lot of work to put a flat cabinet there. I can already hear what my contractor is going to say about that one. I have a really strange apartment with very odd lines so I've been hearing a lot of that! Also, that puts the Shaker door cab very close to the built-ins which have a door in a different style. You can see them in my pic in the post on 10/31 at 8:12. What do you think? I'd also have to consider the cost of the extra granite at this point. Oh, and the usual distraction from the wall A/C is a chair in front of it and a framed picture on top. Well, no chair during the summer. :D...See MoreI need help decorating with the best colors for my furniture.

Comments (2)"Best" is a relative term. It needs to function for your needs and fit your aesthetic style. There are a million combinations. Also, I wouldn't say 15x15 is a small bathroom. You probably need to ask a more specific question to get helpful advice. If you want layout design help, post a floor plan showing doors and windows. Tell us how many users, storage needs, etc. If you want style advice, give some info on what your desired look is and how much maintenance you want to put into the materials. And knowing your budget would be helpful. Or, take all of this info to a local kitchen and bath dealer. They will ask you all of these questions and many more to help you design a space tailored exactly to your needs....See MoreJ J
