Wishing this to all the birth mothers, adopted mpthers, step mothers, like-a-mothers, furkid mothers or like in my situation, feathered kid mothers. Hope everyone has a great day!

Thank you, and a Happy Mother's Day to you too, and to everyone who functions as a mother, no matter who/what they are nurturing.

Both my girls stopped today to visit. I had to smile, I know my kids well. Amanda brought a Family Farm gift certificate to go toward a new gate for the barnyard. Ashley brought flowers. One very sensible girl and one more emotional one, and they are both like me in their own ways. Plus they brought the Grandkids, so it's all good!

I did not cook, other than a pan of brownies I made last night. Elery cooked a chuck roast, "pulled" it and mixed it with BBQ sauce, to be eaten on buns. It was pretty darned good, too!

Son bought me a silver bracelet with a charm that says I love you mom. daughter bought me a slim rose gold bracelet thst says The love between a mother and daughter knows no distance. Son also made a collage of pics of himself and his pup Katie that says we love you Ma. Daughter bought me these socks!!

Happy Mother's Day, everyone! Love the idea of wearing hats to church, Linda! Sounds as if you've have a very productive weekend. I'm excited to hear about your Simply Sixteen, as I hope to acquire one in the future. Be sure to keep us posted with a review once you get the hang of it! I've spent the last couple weeks finishing up my den remodel with moving in furniture, and rearranging furniture in other rooms. My sewing room is still in the dining room for now. With the oldest home from college, I have more muscle to move big furniture around. We have guests visiting mid-week & staying 3 nights, so my Mother's Day gift is the boys & girl mowing the yard and having the house 'company clean' by tomorrow evening. Much better than burnt toast & runny eggs from when my Littles were little! :) We're off to church, and then to visit my MIL for a bit this afternoon. Enjoy your day, y'all!

I hope you all had an enjoyable Mother's Day.

I don't believe in fighting the crowd going to a restaurant for MD. So I made sushi. Tuna rolls and crab meat rolls.
