50's diner style white counter that goes with SW Pure White cabinets?

Anybody know of a white'ish solid surface countertop that goes well with Sherman Williams Pure White cabinets? We are in Hawaii and some things take forever to get here, but were told Staron and LG Hi-Macs were the easiest to get. But the company does have samples of Corian, so we could match up if you know a Corian color.
Our plan is to paint a big piece of wood with Pure White, then compare to samples. But the samples are so small that I'm worried they might look pretty different in large scale. Hard to tell how obvious the specks are, etc.
The kitchen is going to be retro with red Big Chill appliances and black and white checkerboard floor.

5 years agoHere's three corian soild whites. ( no specs) Don't have SW colors samples but modern white is the whitest of the three.

Comments (11)Thank you! They are Conestoga cabs, the blue is SW Commodore (they go off the SW colors), they really are not *that* bright. :) I'm from NY too Audrey! When it came time for the backsplash I waived the white flag financially and decision making-wise. I love the water jet cut tiles a la Ann Sacks and such. I think they would look lovely with what you are talking about. Light blue or green are pretty. If you want to stick with white maybe milk white glass in a staggered brick pattern (not subway tile, they are different sized rectangles, I think I saw them at Tile Bar) But I do love me some subway tile. ;)...See MoreLight/White Countertops with Natural Maple Cabinets Picture Request

While not trendy, my house and cabinetry are older and it seemed to blend well with the older elements since it is the floor seen in older homes - some over a 100 years old. Comments (27)We closed on our house today wahoooo! I only got to spend about an hour there but looked quickly at the samples for trim/doors/ceilings. I think I've narrowed it down to three possibilities: BM Simply White, SW Extra White and BM Super White. I thought about BM Chantilly Lace too. Basically, looking at the finishings, my first gut is that BM Simply White looks the best. I just worry it may look too yellow once up on everything. At least that's what I read (and you know how reliable the internet is). First question: has anyone had experience with BM Simply White? Does it just read warm or do you see the yellow in it when it's one trim/doors/ceilings? So I may go that direction, or wonder if I should go with a cleaner white but something close. Something still a little warm... As for the runners up, from what I can see SW Extra White and BM Super White are very similar but Extra White maybe looks a little warmer? Maybe because it has more chroma? Is this understanding accurate, Lori A. Sawaya?? And it seems to me that the order of warmth would go SW Extra White, BM Super White, BM Chantilly Lace... is that a correct reading? Again for context - East/West exposures with a lot of shade. Wall colors aren't chosen but would likely be something along the lines of BM Edgecomb Gray, BM Ballet White, BM Chelsea Gray, BM Natural Cream. Daughter's room will be BM Opal.
