Flooring to go with white cabs, caesarstone counter
Comments (3)Melinla, That sounds wonderful. Here are some images of what others did with white cabinets and tile floor. Try to ignore the counters because I am not sure the exact stone for the counters. You may have to contact these sites to get the exact kind or type of floor. Meanwhile you can always look at them for ideas and discover what you like or don't. ~boxer Google image white kitchens slate floor Sunset Kitchens Cotede Texas MDS Illinois Hepburn Weddington Designs Niagara Voice Kitchen Small Bones Kitchen Light Restyled Homes Exotic Excess...See MoreWhite cabs, black counters & a backsplash other than white?
Comments (17)FYI, here are some of my inspiration photos. I love the red accents in this first one (my compliments to SoonerMagic--I hope it's OK that I'm re-posting this) but I'm just not sure if white subway tile might be too stark in our kitchen. Our cabs are white rather than off-white, there's no window above the sink and there won't be much painted wall showing. If we went with this color scheme we'd probably do something like BM Bennington Gray on the walls. Not certain if we'd use the contrasting grout or go with something whiter. I like how the beige-y backsplash in this 2nd photo adds a little more color to the room. Was thinking a subway tile in this shade might still work nicely with red accents (with paint in a similar beige shade): A third option would be to do a grayish paint (BM Gray Owl?) and go with a subway tile in carrara marble something like the one below (sorry--I'm not sure whose pic this is). The problem is I'm not sure that would coordinate well with the red in our dining room. It's also a cooler color scheme than I'd originally planned. Any thoughts? Our floors are hardwood, by the way--similar to the color in pic #2 or just a touch lighter. Thanks again for all the input!...See MoreHas anyone ever used MSI Q Stellar White as a kitchen counter?
Comments (14)Oh no the sparkle is definitely very subtle. In the 9x13 sample I have there are only a few of those sparkly flecks so its not very noticeable really unless the light hits it right. It’s not at all like those other “sparkle” quartzes. I had my heart set on it was so sad when I discovered it’s more off-white 😢 the Stonemark I assume is the same as the MSI Perla White (I feel like stonemark and msi must be the same company?) and I considered that too but up close it was just too cloudy looking, imo....See MoreGrey Kitchen with White counter and what kind of flooring
Comments (5)I am just completing a grey and white kitchen. We did white peripheral cabinets with grey island. We got a white/grey quartz. We got 12 x 24 porcelain tiles in a grey/white mix. We purchased Casalgrande Padana in Piombo color and we love it. Piombo is slightly darker than another color they carry called Argento. I really like both tiles. We used the Argento for the bathroom....See Moredollymibella
