Anyone wear an ankle brace?
Comments (11)In 1990, I broke my ankle and it was also badly sprained. At times, it bothers me...and that's when I wear the kind of brace that Glenda wears. I only need it a couple of times a year, or when I will be doing a lot of walking on uneven ground. JaneJune, you should ask your doctor about wearing a brace. Good luck and take care....See MoreI'm not expert, but what about the homeowners ankles?
Comments (83)Maybe if two people step on them at the same time they are propelled into a secret room, preferably one with less, well less everything. Perhaps the ugliness is to frighten the curious away... But seriously why? Does the owner think the housekeeper is getting it on with her husband and this is a passive aggressive punishment?...See MoreFracture in my ankle
Comments (6)marie-ndcal I am seeing a orthopedic Dr tomorrow but not the one who did my knee. I am going to one about 1 hr. from us & has been recommended by my reg. Dr. I am sure it has started to heal but the pain has gotten worse over the past 3 weeks. I will do whatever has to be done but I hope it is not surgery....See MoreI broke my ankle in two places.....
Comments (31)Thanks all of you for all your kind thoughts. How I did it, was I was going out front on the lawn to pick up the paper, so that I could look at the ads to take my mom Christmas shopping and I hurry all the time, so I was running and the grass was wet and I slid and my right foot went under me and I came down on it and sat on it. I actully heard it crack, so I just sat there crying because I just knew that it was bad, and everything went in front of me, Christmas shopping (I love the shop) my very busy job (which I am really starting to love) and then just being laid up. Oh well, I am making the best of it. I have company everyday, someone brings me lunch. My mom and dad - 80 and 82 come over every day when my DH is working, my son and his girlfriend stop by. But it is hard to sit around when I have so much to do. Thanks again for all your thoughts....See Moremaifleur01
