Tomato trees as seen on tv
Comments (9)My only interest here was to possibly purchase "giant tree tomatoes" and prolific large blueberries seen in TV ads....and as far as I can tell...(there may be errors and omissions): After some pre-purchase research.... Company: Gardeners Choice, Inc. -> separate websites and similar TV ads for US and Canada [!!!Watch shipping charges...are for EACH ITEM GROUP ! Taxes are on top ! Cost quickly adds up. Googled and Searched complaints on www.complaintsboard.com and www.scamfound.com Shipping charges are not clear on ads and also sometimes ship extra product with more charges.Online Order is committed as soon as entered and no chance to double check or quit. Hard to get response from customer service, or ship product back. TV ad "Plants" often a single seed on a peat pod (tomatoes) or very dry root stick (blueberries)....not the best packaging for shipping....seems very costly in the end totals.... seems overpriced shipping/minimal product.] ...BUT...do they grow as promised...TBD...PLEASE post ! CANADA: www.mymagicgarden.com My Magic Garden (Giant Tomatoes) PO BOX 6000 80 van Kirk Drive Brampton, ON L6V 4N3 or L3P 2S7 ? support@MyGiantTomatoes.com 1-888-566-7478 www.mygianttomatoes.com www.myblueberrygiant.com www.quicklawnseed.com USA: http://gardenerschoice.com www.gardenerschoice.com www.gardenerschoicecatalog.com VERY INTERESTING PRODUCTS! GOOD PICTURES and VIDEOS for some items www.GCSpecials.com https://www.trygianttomato.com Gardeners' Choice PO BOX 8000 81961 County Road 687 South Hartford, MI 49057-8000 tvsupport@gardenerschoice.com 1-866-518-2290 1-269-621-2481 TreeTomato Returns Department 400 Fulfillment Circle Wallingford CT 06494 Therefore the company seems to have some VERY interesting products, but packaging quality and high shipping charges are suspect (at least for TV ads). I was going to order from CDN outfit online but am discouraged....did anyone have happy results with these products....including the giant tomato tree, blueberries, etc., etc.? Giant tomato offer: (3+3free)6 dry peatpods in baggies -> two shipping charges plus taxes ? Blueberries: 5 single stem sticks with roots in easily dry soil....which falls off roots ?...are some complaints I found. Anyone with joyous results from any of these websites? Super results are probably in best climates or greenhouses but seem to be SPECIALLY developed prolific seed/plant varieties and/or fast/abundant growing mediums. Comments (16)The way I looked at the reviews 3 being above average 4 being good 5 being best..it looks to me as it has better likes than dislikes, on Amazon. For a dollar I think it would be worth a try. And if the wires do loosen up a bit my husband is a good handyman who has had to fix more expensive items that were highly recommended such as a Food Saver model that we had about 8 months that went caput, and would have cost more to send it back to the factory, we had only used it maybe four or five times....I use a hand operated model now that would only break down if I did. LOL!!! So for a dollar? Yeah, I will try it...think it would be great for pasta, veggies, blanching veggies in summer, even if I used it just one summer season for blanching veggies before canning....See MoreAs seen on TV: the Vegetti, have you tried it?
Comments (12)I got the Paderno one with the four blades that was recommended in the Cooking Forum: http://ths.gardenweb.com/discussions/2814503/do-i-need-a-spiralizer-w-s-sale It's at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AW3B5MM/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1429026963&sr=1&keywords=paderno+four+blade+spiralizer) for $50 currently, though I paid 30% less. I'm sure someone else has a reasonable price. It's less fussy than the $10 cone shaped ones, and does more. Recently, I made "carrot confetti" on the finest setting and the little girls loved all the LONG strings. I also used the plain blade to spiral slice (like those boingy potatoes that were so stylish ten years ago) watermelon radishes. If you twist the resulting chain, you get a ruffle, and it looked spectacular, besides being the exact right thickness for eating. Even though I use mandolines often, I was surprised at just how easy it was to use....See MoreTV HGTV Flipping 101... a bolus of episodes seen today
Comments (4)Once in surgery waiting room, I finished the book I was reading and ended up watching multiple episodes of some show. They basically did the same ”design” in each house. Every house received an open kitchen-living room, and a wooden wall, usually in a bedroom. IIRC the kitchens were all alike. To give credit, they did create a different manufactured drama for each house. All the drama was about things real professionals should have discovered, would have known so it was clear it was fake. It made them look incompetent. The female was the “lead” and the guy was a big, old lovable doofus, and it wasn’t the couple from Texas, just a cheaper imitation of them. I‘m sure they called each other babe or hun. It was cruel and unusual punishment to be stuck there waiting for someone’s procedure to end, without a book, and having that show blaring at me. I’m still traumatized by it....See Moregraywings123
