Have any of you seen this TV Show?

Apparently "House of Cards" is a huge hit on Netflix. People are watching it and it's addictive. It's not on the major networks.

Kevin Spacey stars and its about politics, based on a British show with the same name. It's set in the era after Thatcher. I think we'll try it and see.

It's on my Instant Queue, but I haven't watched it yet. I like Kevin Spacey, and I heard the show is very good.

I was telling someone about it, and I called the show "King of Spades." Hope he found it. LOL

I haven't seen it because I don't have Netflix, but my mother and sister loved it.

Konrad - that's absolutely beautiful...... Agree with the comments about living in a cold climate - we have no wish to move somewhere warmer. Although the past two weekend mornings when it was -38 C...it was pretty tough to get going! :-) Today, its 30 degrees warmer, only -8!

Marie I have been to to both Cavalia and Medieval Times. My opinion is they entirely two different types of performance. Cavalia is more about the bond between man and horse. Medieval Times is purely man riding horse. Other than a bit of passage in MT there is little similarity. Cavalia is ethereal. Medieval Times is about action and kitschinees. It's like comparing ballet to burlesque or an opera to a rock concert. Both are entertaining but nothing alike.

If anybody gives that new Hurricane spin mop a try, post back as to how it worked for you (or didn't!). There has been an infomercial on it recently. I dislike probably ever mop I've bought -- the string mop, the mop that has strips of a felt-like microfiber (like the Wonder Mop, like Libman makes), the sponge mop (I can never get the replacement sponges in easily). I don't use Swiffers anymore, but I do use a Libman Freedom Soft Mop, with the cloths you pull off the mop head and toss into the washing machine. azzalea -- Maybe you could take a camera crew over to evatex's house and you'd both be happy. LOL Y'all probably don't really want to be on a talk show. The host doesn't want the audience to hear YOU, after all, SHE is the STAR. (ref. Oprah and all the 'hosts' on CNN who ask questions then continually interrupt cogent guests after one sentence. This leads to the guest who never answers a question, just trots out his prepared spiel.)

I turned it off after 10 minutes. People kept telling me how good it is, but I thought it was terrible and hard to follow. I might try it again in a few months when I am in a different state of mind.

The original was terrific. As I recall the main character was astounding; the embodiment of 'venal'. We haven't seen the re-make.

Love Spacey and this show. When it works for me, I can watch it online, but I'm behind.

I watched the first 8 episodes and then got bored of it. My son watched it all and said it was good. I noticed that there is a British version of it on Netflix with 3 seasons.

I have watched about 3 episodes and I love it, but I am trying to get caught up on Breaking Bad. There is also a new series I wanted to watch on The Sundance Channel, but I am not sure of the title.
