Should I add more Containers to My Garden?
Comments (3)I don't think you could ever have too many containers! I'm chuckling because recently my husband asked me, "Are you going to add all those planters again this year along the walkway and patio like you did last year? I really liked that." I just started landscaping my yard last year, and now I'm hooked on container planting as well, though yours are much brighter colors than my own - very pretty. Your clematis is fantastic. I just planted mine last year running along the fence on my driveway, so this year I'll probably keep cropping back again to focus on root growth, then I'll let grow out after the end of July. By next year they should have a nice full growth. I like your petunias in your planter box too. We will be putting our window boxes up soon....woohoo..I can hardly wait. My yard is still a work in progress, but I've included some pics in photobucket. If something looks out of place in these pics, it probably was so just ignore the obvious. Someone had pics of white liatrus in their container plantings and it looked fantastic. I've looked around, but the only thing I can find is purple liatrus. Here is a link that might be useful: Photobucket pics...See MoreShould I add more pictures to this wall or leave as is?
Comments (17)I love your room! I wouldn't hang art that high ^^. I like the asymmetrical placement, but think if you center it over the chair, it will actually be asymmetrical on the wall, but balance with the chair and lamp. Or maybe first try scootching the chair and table a little closer to the couch so the right corner of the chair lines up with the right side of the art. Or if you like the chair exactly where it is, maybe instead of centering the art over the chair, line it up by moving the painting slightly to the right so the chair and right edge of the painting line up, like I suggested above....See MoreWhat should I add to dining room?
Comments (25)Actually, I like what celery girl has come up with in the post showing both the ikea rug and a blue one. Once you have your table centered under the light, you will not have much room left, and the narrower shelving adds texture without mass. Take a look at the two looks: does it seem to you that the first room appears spacious, and the second is a bit busy? That is because the first photo is monochromatic, and relies on texture and depth of colour for interest - a much better idea for your more intimately sized room....See MoreWhat kind of greenery/plants and accessories should I add to my room?
Comments (2)IMO the wall hanging is not really highlighted on that wall a pice of art with some color would be better there or paint the wall an accent color to make the hanging stand out. Maybe one of the dark colors from the FP. The bottom of the haning 6” from the top of the sofa will be good. I don’t think it is too small....See MoreLisa
