Comments (5)Hope you're having fun dreaming about your outdoor space! I agree that some simple landscaping could really create an inviting space for the front of this exterior, but fresh paint could make a big difference, too. Pay attention to the color combinations you see on other houses & try playing with color on a website like https://certapro.com/paint-color-ideas/. Or if you're up for something a bit more substantial, you could create a craftsman look over your porch which would give it more substantial curb appeal! I'm not crafty enough to do even a rough rendering of a craftsman look, but accidentally uploaded what I did, so don't judge me! LOL :)...See More80s Contemporary Exterior Brick Update
Comments (11)Can you paint the siding instead of the brick? They don't really go together. I think one of them needs to be changed. Not desperately--it's not THAT bad. Landscaping would help quite a bit. I don't mind the baby cactus garden, but the white rock stuff on the other side should go. Alllll the white rocks should be removed. Don't pull out the big bush until you have a plan. Sometimes an established plant can nicely anchor a new landscaping scheme. Pruning may of course be in order. There is a helpful landscape design forum here. Blunt, but helpful. :)...See MoreUpdate 80's Brick Exterior
Comments (9)@beverlyfladeziner I've definitely pinned some of those images. I did some digging and the roof was installed in 2001 and is still in pretty good shape. Still, I will probably have to replace it in the next 5-10 years (its a very high end roof so estimated to last longer than 20 years) and can choose a different color. I love the color scheme below with the trim color, white brick, and roof. I don't know if it would work with the brown window cladding that the house has though. I don't have the time/money to paint those right now, unfortunately....See More80s home exterior needs updating
Comments (10)Romabio for your stone. The Classico is a lime wash. Romabio also has masonry paint that will give you a thicker coverage. I suggest you search out Romabio before and after (on stone facades) so you can see the transformations That pink stone around your garage is horrible w/the coloring of the house. I'd paint all of that in a heartbeat....See MoreRelated Professionals
