Comments (18)We just went through a June with maybe 5-7 days without some rain and SDDJ was not one of the roses that balled and I had roses ball that have never balled before. I believe that Campbell River might be drier than we are. There is a rain shadow effect on the inner passage from the mountain ridge down Vancouver Island. They call the opposite side the Sunshine coast. I was thinking more of cold winter wind when I said the climate might be more challanging. I have Kathleen Harrop and Zepherine Drouhin and they do fine for me with minimal spraying. I use sulfur when I get a chance. I do not spray during the summer. patricia...See MoreMy kitchen curse creeps into other aspects of my life...
Comments (2)Ouch. Sorry to hear you've had another disappointment but glad to hear it was resolved so readily. I have an Electra. Won it in this big contest / promo that Bicycling magazine did a few years ago. It's the first edition they did of their Townie model. It's a very cute bike but it's not very speedy or that good on hills. Other than that it's a very comfortable ride. I do get paranoid about the white handles and seat, though. If that's the model you have be aware that it doesn't sit very well on its kickstand. (Unless they've redesigned it in the past few years.) I've got a big ding that's going to require professional repair one of these days because of it tipping over....See MoreWorking around a layout that I know you all will curse...
Comments (40)You are a hoot, arialvetica. I love your current kitchen, but.... Oh, kitchen layout critiques are going to be so much more fun now. I tried to give you the U-kitchen with island but didn't do a good job of it and I couldn't figure how to do it and give you the sunroom. Sorry. I flipped the front door to the other side of the porch. Maybe someone more creative than me can riff with this a bit. The aisles are wonky. ETA: I do like the spaciousness of this but I understand why you want that room for messes....See MoreAny idea what this is?
Comments (33)It's most definitely not a part of a ouija board. I think the markings on the back are a guide for the holes which were not punched in the correct spots. It's either how to connect chains or laces to it. It's definitely only a part of a bigger piece. Off topic : I am so ensconced in the oak island mystery and show! I just want them to find something already!...See More- 7 years ago
