HAVE: Ft Worth Spring Swap April 25 2009
Comments (50)Welcome, clairtx! The swap starts around 10 AM at Trinity Park in FW. From I-30 just at the western edge of downtown, go north on University & take the very first right into the park. Follow the trail around as it winds through the park, & we'll be in a pavillion just north of the big pavillion. Don't go to the big pavillion; it's reserved for someone's family reunion! (You can tell they're not us by the lack of plants in their group!)...See MoreWANTED: Fort Worth February Seed Swap
Comments (26)Son of a - Guys, I hate to do this to you, but I'm going to have to bow out. A few of you might be aware of this situation we've got. In short, a friend of mine has been staying with us while she was pregnant. She was in a bad spot, we had the room, so here we are. Anyway, she had the baby on Thursday, and she's coming home sometime Saturday but we don't know when they'll discharge her and the baby. So I'd better be available Saturday. Gah! I'm sorry I won't be able to make it, but I've got to choose taking care of her over socializing with my beloved gardening buddies. Sorry again! I hope you guys have a blast!...See MoreWANTED: Forest Park Fort Worth swap / trade ?

Comments (216)Two days in and I'm slowly killing PK's Texas Columbine and I don't know how to make it better. It is losing it's pretty flowers and some of the leaves look like they are dry and crispy. It got rain on Saturday and sun on Sunday and then I noticed it was dropping it's flowers. So I moved it to the shade. It seems like the leaves look dry, even though the soil is moist (but not soaked). and I watered it a bit more yesterday, so the soil feels damp but not soaked. Could it be it doesn't like the wind? I really love it and want to save it. Any tips would be appreciated....See MoreSylvia Gordon
