Take it back and see if you can get a refund. It sounds like it is dead (dying actually). Palms have only one growing point. It that tip dies, the plant cannot branch and will die. When older leaves die, the palm is usually not dying but if the younger leaves have all died then that sounds like the palm's apical meristem is dead. The only hope is if the dead leaves were due to being moved in freezing weather, left outside in freezing air for more than a few minutes, or some other condition that just killed the more tender young leaves. This could also happen if the plant were suddenly exposed to full sun, thus burning the leaves. Inspect the tip growth. Give this a gentle tug. If all the emerging growth just pulls out, then its dead. But, don't pull it hard. It could be alive and then you could damage what's left. In any case you will have an unsightly palm for a long time--so see if you can get a refund. Jon

Looks like the air is too dry, especially if that heater it's beside is turned on. The little 'bubbles' is slow release fertilizer usually put in the pot before the plants are shipped out of the nursery. I would repot the plant to a slightly bigger pot with a good potting mix and try and increase the humidity. Maybe you can spray the fronds with a mister a few times a week. Also are you sure this is a Kentia palm? It looks like a majesty from the pic.

M Hello anyone. Here are my experiences. I live in San Diego, California and after the wild fires destroyed my entire house, I rebuilt and re-landscaped with palm trees. After knowing nothing about those plants and some failures, I now have a palm tree "forest" in my front yard. So...king palms look magnificant in "singles"; avoid washingtonians because in a few years they will too tall to cut/trim. Avoid queen palms because they must be trimmed when they get tall. Windmill palms are trouble free but must be trimmed after they reach 15' high or so. I went to Target garden center and purchased several kentia palms (3 plants in each pot) for $19 each and took them home and very very carefully seperated them individually and planted them outside as understory palms. The first 20 months they grew slowly but didn't burn and were fine. Now the sun doesn't bother them at all and they are growing faster and faster. Kentia palms and king palms grow wonderfully and somewhat fast indoors as house plants. Have them but never over water them. Use palm fertilizer and occasionally fish fertilizer. Beautiful house plants....then move them outside when too large and acclimate them and put them into the ground in your landscaping. A good outdoor palm is the fox tail palm...it also is self -cleaning. But good house palms for fast beautiful growth are kentia, king, and cat palms.

Sounds like it was killed from too much love. The Neem oil caused a bad reaction by these slow growing palms. Whats not dead might recover if you were able to get it to a greenhouse,but I get that its an office plant and chances are ...not good. When you are sure the fronds are dead,cut them off and do your best to keep it watered properly and with brightest light- but not direct window sun. Palms as indoor plants are a hard grow for most so don't feel bad.
