White Benjamin Moore Exterior Paint
Comments (11)White Dove is pretty. It has a slight warmed up edge to it and its nuance definitely leans a bit grayed which in some lights or shadows could read a little green - so watch out for that. Navajo White is lovely too, but it's not 'white'. I'd call it a very, pale beige. What to watch out for with Navajo is its going a little 'fleshy' in certain context and certain qualities of light. Montgomery White is pretty and it's not 'white' either. This one I would classify as a very, pale taupe. Exterior it could read a little cool. In comparison to Navajo it's definitely going to look cooler and grayer. A crisp just 'white white' to thro in the mix would be Super White. BenM's Decorator White sees a lot of spin and some people think it's a 'white white'. I don't. I think it's rather grayed to an extent that it almost looks uber pale light blue in some context/exposures. Be that as it may, that's another one you might wanna snag for comparison in your color selection process....See MoreNeed Benjamin Moore paint color between Simply White and White Dove
Comments (6)I wonder what she ended up using. I have Simply White kitchen cabinets and I love the white. I’m getting ready to paint the walls in the front of the house (open concept) which is Revere Pewter right now. I love the color but it’s time for a glow up 😀to brighten the space. I’m wondering if going with Simply White on the walls as well as my cabinets will be a mistake. After the Revere Pewter tone for several years I just need some brightness....See MoreBruce flooring? White oak? Resale? Benjamin Moore Simply White?
Comments (8)Bruce is now owned by Armstrong as is Robbins and Hartco. Between all of the offerings there's a wide range of products and looks with quality ranging from low to medium high. The comment about limited selection is the opposite of reality. They have a bunch of products. When I peruse their price list it's sometimes hard to figure out the difference between multiple items that sound the same on paper. The challenge is finding somewhere that might show the full product line. Big box stores generally have a limited selection. Many multi-surface flooring stores have Shaw or Mohawk since the sell carpet and tile. You'll get design opinions in the flooring forum but questions generally slants toward technical issues. Perhaps your cross-posts will work or you could inquire in Design Dilemma. First you need to set a direction, then you can set about executing a plan....See MoreIs Benjamin Moore worth it? Comments (5)tozmo - yes, very good point on getting the product line they would use for their quotes. Wow! 15 years! The main house I live in was built brand new in 2006 and we repainted it I think in 2017 or 18? Now that I think about it, I'm not sure what the driving force behind that was. I think the paint might have looked OK (never stood out to me as needing to be repainted). Main surface is Hardie board siding. I haven't read examples of paint jobs on old wood siding going for more than 10 years, so I guess I need to factor that in....See Morem111675
