This is a marathon not a sprint with fixing this room. Besides the floor (which we basically have decided on), I'm really at a loss on what to do with the moulding at the top (hard to see in this, buts along the lines of "dental moulding"- very dated). It measures about 3 inches long. Theres so many styles out now. Flat, one curve, two curves, etc. We also are going to put a gas insert into the fireplace and swap the tiles out- most likely some kind of darks and greys granite/stone around it. I'd like to swap the mantle pieces also. Any and all suggestions welcome. I keep looking at pictures and its becoming a blur at this point.
