Adura Max Tile vs Adura Flex Tile in Kitchen?

I am planning a kitchen do-over. I have a small kitchen 9'x11'. New cabinets will be natural maple.

Am considering Adura Max tile (8 mm thick) for kitchen floor (floating) but have also been looking at Adura Flex Tile (2.5 mm thick) which is glued.
Glued floor while cheaper per square foot would go under cabinets (more material needed) while Adura Max would be installed after cabinets, so the total square foot to be covered is smaller. My cost estimates for both options are very close (less than $50 difference).

The Contractor for the cabinet installation that I am talking to is hesitant in taking on a glued floor task as they never do it, and recommended I have a floor person handle a glued floor install. On the other hand he had no trouble with the Adura Max install.

I am leaning towards Adura Max.
Is there ANY reason to pick Adura Flex tile in kitchen over Adura Max?
Thanks for any input !
