Comments (18)Ok, I think I'm going with centred over the night tables! I did some experimenting with bulbs and heights and should get enough light if they're in that location. Thanks everyone for your pictures! Beagles, the room I was thinking of painting blue is smallish, orthern exposure, very little light. Sigh. Oh well, the nice thing about being in the military is you get to move a lot! Maybe our next house will have a suitable room for blue? Cyn, thanks for the link! Comments (9)I agree. If the mirror is staying, you can't have even light with one sconce. But same with a pendant really. You would have to have a sconce on the side wall and a pendant hanging in front of the mirror on your right. Hmmm. My head is spinning lol. Since this is a little used bath, I would consider keeping the light bars, replacing the bulbs with frosted bulbs for your soft even light, and call it a day....See MoreUser

5 years agoIgnore ALL the mess and imagine a wall on the right before the doorway into dining space. The wall will be built. The far end will have ~ 24” pantry closet. The proximal wall on right is where I’d put a light.
