Please help me choose the best Quote on Air Conditioner. THANKS
Comments (3)What is the size of the current condenser? Will the lineset be replaced? What furnace do you have? You don't have a valid quote unless all model numbers of all the equipment are provided. I agree with V. You don't want the AC failing again in another 8 years....See MoreHelp me choose a camera, Please!!! Thanks!!!!
Comments (10)I went shopping for a digital camera the night before last and I had my mind on a Cannon Powershot S3, one that I have read some great reviews about. While at the store I had two different people come up to me while I was holding the display model on the Z612 that I stumbled upon. They both said that it was the best camera they have ever owned. One lady said she worked on the highschool yearbook and that the school had two $3000 Nikon DSLR's, used for yearbook photos. She took pics with her Z612 and compared them to the exact same pics taken with the Nikon, and no one could tell the difference. The Z612 has 6.1 megapixels, more than enough for most pics that amature photographers take. It has a 12x zoom lens, equivelent to a 35-45mm SLR lens. It has electronic vibration control. All these features are also on the Cannon Powershot S3, which costs $400. The Z612 I bought at Costco was $269. Reading reviews, one shortcomming of the camera is it has a tendency to not stay in focus when zooming in and out when shooting video. If you desire video footage and the quality is important, perhaps the Cannon is the better rout. I my opinion, it seems that the Z612 rivals most $400 digital cameras out there, for a whole lot less. But believe me, the more you read, the tougher it gets. After reading a couple reviews, I was on the verge of bringing it back to go with the Cannon. It seems Cannon is the choice of most gadget review sites such as cnet, pcworld, etc. but I'm going to stick with the Kodak. I haven't used it yet as it's a gift for my wife. Let us know what you decide. --regards, John...See MorePlease help me choose fabric (many pictures)
Comments (14)Ok, I've been thinking about this room all day. LOL I even went through a ton of fabrics to try to find something I could recommend. The problem is, I don't think the tones in the photo of the curtains is coming across very well so it's making it near impossible. If you can take a really good clear crisp photo of the fabric in a flat position (drape it over the chair) that may help. The other thing I really feel the need to throw out there is overall the room is just lacking color and I don't think canning the red is necessarily the answer. I know you said you've grown tired of it, but maybe that's because that's all there is. Why not just keep the red and bring in a 3rd color to the mix. Olive Green, Navy Blue? Rule of thumb is to have your colors in odd numbers so you really need a 3rd color anyway. You don't even necessarily have to reupholster the chair to accomplish this. You could just bring in some color with the use of pillow covers, a new rug and even paint. If the chair print isn't working with the drapes, add some separation by putting a throw in a contrasting color over the back of it. That said, if you still really want to change the fabric on the chair, post up a new photo, there are several of us who just love to shop fabrics, we just need a really good picture to do it with. :c)...See MoreNeed help choosing the right tree - Please help! Comments (7)that mock up.. is perfect spacing.. for the trees as they are at that size ... in a decade ... they will be growing into each other.. and probably not all that pleasing to the eye ... size estimates in conifers.. is usually at ten years .. and you can easily presume.. at 20 years.. they will be twice as large in every dimension ... 25 feet max is not much for picea pungens and pinus .... unless you used dwarfing cultivars ... and those will take decades to get to the height needed for sight blocking ... in this example.. in 10 years ... the magnolia will be in full shade.. and probably not seen .. and might not flower fully .... imo.. there are at least 2 and maybe 3 too many trees for that spot ... but it sure will look cool for a while.. in tree time ... ken BTW ... in my z5 MI ... there are only 2 bulletproof mags ... star and tulip ... and i am blanking on the latin.. soulangea ... and something something.. lol ... are you aware if sweet bay will thrive up in that part of ME???...See MoreD K
