New tree and sod irrigation

Orlando , FL. I am having a new crape myrtle planted and removing some shrubs and mulch to replace with sod (about 44 sq ft. 4' x 11' total including the tree). The landscape documents state that I need to water the tree with 9 gallons per day for the first week or two, and I know the sod will need a lot of watering. Since the rest of my lawn and shrubs have been in place for a year, I do not want to water the entire zone every day. I having been looking at some above ground micro spray drip line watering kits or something that I can connect to my outdoor spigot, but I don't really know what I should use.
