which veggie should i do in the container? space planning help
Comments (8)It is hard to give accurate advice if we don't know where you are. Have you already bought seed? Peppers, eggplant, and tomatoes should all go in containers, and should probably be started indoors and grown under lights. If you don't have seed yet, buy a few plants and put those in containers when the time is right in your area. Peas should probably be planted already. You won't get many from that size bed, especially if the warm weather continues, so plant all of the peas on one side of the bed or in the center. Broccoli and cauliflower will take up a lot of space, so only plant a few seeds at a time, but do it every month. Spinach is best to grow in spring and fall, it will bolt quickly in summer. Carrots are the hardest thing on your list to grow. They must be sown in place for best results, and properly watered and thinned. Cucumbers should be sown in place, they don't transplant well. They need warm soil to germinate and grow well, so you may be better off waiting - everything depends on where you are....See MoreShould I change shower floor to same color as main floor in small bath
Comments (4)My bathroom is a bit larger but I still wonder if I should have chose all the same but most of the time I love that it matches yet varies too I did the exact as you, small faux marble squares, larger porcelain marble tiles in brick pattern on walls and a grey herringbone on my floor too. My floor is large format though. Here is my bath so you have reference of a similar tile scheme and the next picture is with all the same marble. Maybe it will help you decide...I used a greyer real marble threshold to bridge the two floors.. I love this pictured bath and looking at it makes me second guess my final choices sometimes than other times I like that from my room the floor and even the room do not look like a bathroom necessarily... So hard to choose xo...See MoreShould I paint walls and ceilings the same colour or do them white lik
Comments (2)I read elsewhere that if you paint the ceilings and walls the same color, the ceiling will look darker. I just painted my ceilings a bright flat white, and walls SW Snowbound, which has that slight beige undertone that Balboa Mist has. I don’t think you can go wrong, but see if you can get a sample to test a swatch on the walls as whites pick up surrounding colors and look different depending on furnishings and N,S,E, or W exposures....See MoreShould we paint the crawl space doors the same color as the wall?
Comments (6)I think there are a few diff things you can do to conceal them. As they are now, trimmed and 'framed', they stick out quite a bit. even if you paint them the same color, it's still going to be a 'framed panel'. If you remove the frame and do a hidden drywall panel, then you'd just have this look which is easily concealed w/a picture or whatever. Then you could paint the wall, trim even the door, all one color. the hinges could be on the inside. you could do something decorative...See MoreAnnette Holbrook(z7a)
