Go to the photo category and search "navy sofa" in living rooms and family rooms. I like the idea of a navy sofa. Thee room can be bright and colorful or refined, depending in the accessories.

we have a deep blue/ navy sofa & two deep grays, almost charcoal. I like both, very practical. My furniture is modern ( Room and Board ). I would think either would look good. The leather armchair would look great with the blue.

I think West Elm is about as cheap as you will find. Check out their site, sale going on now. I’m not familiar with their quality but their styles look nice. I’d be leery about going cheaper if that’s possible. Some of the Target furniture not bad, I have one of their benches in a guest room, mixed in fine with much higher priced furniture. You’d never guess it was ordered from Target online.

Here is a similar colored wall, light gray sofa and camel color leather.

Please notice these windows. you need to get some 2-3" simple casement molding and trim out your windows. then get yourself some inset woven wood blinds (like in the pic).

Ditto for the bedroom too. look at the trim work and how nice it finishes off the look of the window. Woven wood blinds in here too.

The other things to consider BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING is the actual size of the room and how you will arrange the furniture, especially if there will be a TV. When furniture doesn't fit, there is absolutely no way to resolve it without starting over. That's not a mistake you want to make.

Also, I would never buy a sofa without first sitting on it. An actual store rather than just online. Comfort levels & colors can vary dramatically from what’s pictured on your monitor.
