Climbers may not come into their own until the third or fourth year, and their repeat bloom is normally much lighter than their spring flush. Was the rose you remember in the same geographical area? There are some climbers better adapted to zone 5 winters than Blaze.

I agree with most of the replies here...and I am one who sits in my sewing room with the TV off 98% of the time....but, this week we got up-graded to HD...all kinds of re wiring and boxes and I can't help but wonder if TV as we have used it is going away. Networks must be really struggling to keep viewers...dumbing down to reach the lowest common denominator.... and if you have these new boxes, you never have to watch a commercial (so where are they going to get their $$$$ to pay those million $ faces? and million dollar ball players? Movies???? WOW...if they were making good ones (not many in my opinion) they are really cheap (and I pop my own salt free popcorn). We have only had it a few days, but I have seen 3 movies...without commercials; one very good but didn't make it at the box office and I am glad I spent the time to watch. I do watch Tuesday nights....NCIS (Mark Harmon I have always loved) and NCISLA...beginning to love those beautiful faces....and the endings are always neat. Somehow, I just can't get interested in TVLand....but I can get all sorts of BBC reruns that often never played in the US. Sort of like 'netflix'....instantly.

Since I'm pretty much stuck with the u shape with island base cabinet sitting where it is now, I'm thinking my best bet is to expand into dining room and use the floor I have to fill in the 2 or so feet we are expanding on the island seating side. I'll have a 15 or 18 inch overhang to get my island to 42 or 48 inches. Other option is simply use tile which I would rather not do. Park's seems to have contributed to buyer confusion by promoting its seeds as "Angel's Trumpets" (a term that can apply to either Datura or Brugmansia), leading some to assume they're getting Brugmansias. Park's website explains the difference but only mentions their seed is of Daturas in small type on the separate order page: http://parkseed.com/angels-trumpet/c/angels-trumpet/ This is yet another example of the perils of relying on common names for plants and assuming that buyers are turned off by (or are too stupid to handle) botanical (Latin) nomenclature. Brugmansia seed is fairly easy to grow but not readily available from commercial sources. Plant societies or groups of Brugmansia enthusiasts (i.e. on Facebook) are potential sources of seed and cuttings. I have about a dozen seed-grown plants that are about 6-8 inches high and likely won't flower until next year.
