Hello Mrs.Mack. We just had a pool built in less than 30days in GA. Awesome pool builder. First let me say that 38k is not shocking it's actually a good price. One thing I would like your PB to state in the contract that if he has miscalculated on his estimate that he would absorb the additional costs. Second, the payment plan. I don't like it. Way to much at excavation and way to much after concrete shell. 45 the 55. I personally would not do business with a company who wants that kind of payment plan. Our PB had a very reasonable payment plan. 10% down payment to get things started after signing the contract. 14% after excavation, 14% after concrete shell. All other phases 10% upon completion. So pretty much 10 payments total to complete the pool. Another thing I would ask for is 2 skimmers and 4 return lines or what he calls inlets. If you want your pool to have good water circulation. We used a tan/cream/gold color quartzite on our natural-looking pool, and the masons laid it also on the vertical 6" or 8" inches under the coping. Our pool builder recommended, and did, soften the edges of the coping so they are a bit more uniform (not totally uniform) and smooth, so as not to catch a bathing suit if a kid slid into the pool. Just use your same stone, assuming it will do ok in the water.

Molewacker, We definitely are keeping the redwoods. I love those big beautiful trees and they are part of the reason why we bought the house. In the living room we have these large, beautiful custom windows that overlook these emerald beauties along with the pool and water fountain. We actually have 4 giant redwoods in our backyard (there's two on the left side of the yard) and all of our neighbors have redwoods everywhere too. I know they aren't ideal for residential landscape but they're here and we love them so we're going to keep them unless they start to die for some reason. Then we'd have them removed right away because those things are huge and we don't want them to fall.

Hi, Can you clarify for me, what colour is the wall paint? Blue? Grey? Can you give us the brand and colour code? Also, are you sticking with your current shower curtain or is that subject to change? I love those encaustic choices, but I wonder if the pattern might be too big for what looks like a small space. Some of those tiles, it takes 4 tiles square to get the pattern. If I assume that the size of the tile might be similar to the squares in your current linoleum, then you'll maybe only have one full pattern of the tile visible in a row and maybe 4 or 5 complete patterns in total on the floor. I don't know if they make smaller versions of the same tiles, so that you could benefit from more pattern in your space, or that might make it look very busy, depending on the tile. thanks
