This is a cheat because someone else took the pic and I can't figure out which of the many photographers to attribute it to. (May have been the city owned drone.) We live one town over and have a photo from eye level, but it's not as dramatic. Locals call it a "frozen crop circle" and it certainly has gotten a lot of national exposure.

Plus it's too dang cold right now to go out and take my own pictures. Brrrr. 6 degrees with a wind chill making it feel like -12.

-30C here as well with the wind chill. Getting down to -20C overnight without the windchill. Thank heavens for sun! It's a gorgeous sunny day! Yesterday I shovelled then went for a walk. I was all bundled up with toque, hood up and a scarf around my face. I met a dog on a walk and said hi to him and he was barking like crazy at me. Poor thing, I must have terrified him.

It's 1º here but at least the sun is shining. Probably going to keep the 4" of snow we got yesterday. But at least it cleared up soon enough to get to see the moon last night!!

I couldn't see the eclipse because it was cloudy overnight, but the moon this morning at dawn was beautiful.
