Changed phones from iphone to android and can't respond to you all

I used to post in the forums on my iPhone 6. I switched to a galaxy Note 9 in November. Now when I try to respond to people on the Adenium forums, it won't let me type. When I press the space bar, it erases and jumbles everything. I've messed with my settings and nothing has helped.

This is going to be super annoying. I post quite a bit of pictures of my plants in the spring and summer. Now i'm having to email myself the photos and then post from a computer.

Anyone else have this problem? I messaged Houzz and haven't gotten an answer yet. Is there a way to tag them on here?

I've been on Android forever and experience this from time to time. Your phone is probably forcing the desktop site to display, which is not formatted or compatible with phone display size. If you look in the address bar you'll probably see www.houzz. Most mobile sites are m.houzz and you can usually force a mobile site by simply changing the www to m. I tried it on my phone and it didn't work on houzz unfortunately. The mobile app works great in Android. I suggest installing the Houzz app and posting that way. The new layout sucks and that's a Houzz thing, not Android, and will take some getting used to in the app. But once you do you'll see that photos upload just fine.

Thanks for the heads-up KT! My mobile phone is old enough to do almost nothing but phone calls, but I do have an iPad and was thrilled to find that this is available for iPad as well as for the iPhone. Definitely the thing to have in hand when at the nursery. I have Clematis-on -the-Web bookmarked for clematis info when nursery browsing. Anyone have any good sources for perennial info to take to the nursery?

Don't have an Iphone but can't you put them in the cloud then access it that way from the computer? I transfer everything via Bluetooth from my android phone to my computer. Bought a nice little USB Bluetooth adapter for $20 and love it. I can also access Verizon cloud from the computer to get at my files. Mary

golddust, if you get into problems of a more technical nature, don't know if you know about crackberry, but their forums are outstanding for phone problems. It's mostly geared toward berries but they do have Droid & iPhone forums now. There are a lot of people trying to get their VZW iPhones up and running. Think I read some issues with syncing and what worked for some. See "vzw iphone just arrived" thread.

I feel you. I lost or forgot my Houz password with all my moving fiasco and Houz and Gmail have been complete douchebags and unhelpful to recover or reset my password. Apparently it's all automated and Gmail blocks Houz automated mails, and no amount of contact them both has gotten anything fixed. So I completely lost my account and have had to start a new one. After YEARS of being on Gardenweb. I'm pissed, but I'm back and made a new account.

@Hyn Patty - Sorry to hear you were having trouble with your password! Gmail doesn't generally block all of Houzz emails, so I'm sorry to hear you had issues with that. Your passwords are not stored in plain text, so they are not visible to our team, and for security reasons, we are only able to help reset passwords by sending a link to the email address that is registered to your account. I'm sure this is a silly question, but did you check your spam / junk folders to see if the message to reset your password ended up there?

Do you happen to have a support ticket number you can share so I can look up your ticket? Thanks!

When I used Android, I also encountered similar problems. Probably there were even many times more of them. With the iPhone I don't have most of the problems. I switched to iPhone more than 5 years ago and only changed 2 models. Whereas with androids I had a hard time after a year of using the phone. I decided to try another model because my last android was stolen. So the first thing I did as soon as I bought an expensive phone at the time was to take care of identification and security purposes. I quickly found a good website that helped me find out the IMEI number on my IPhone so that if it was lost or stolen it could be easily found.
