Comments (53)Since it is a used unit the causation can be more troublesome . You have pretty well checked , cleaned or replaced the normal areas of concern . The ignition switch may be faulty as you have indicated which can be bypassed . Secondarily and more likely is that your coil is heating up and breaking down . They are inexpensive on eBay . I would also advise since it is used to ensure your fuel filter and air filter and gas cap vent are clean and check the cylinder and headbolts are tight roy- bilt and ryobi have fastener issues Good luck Bud !...See MoreCraftsman Lawn Tractor Won't Start
Comments (65)Seat switch connector has a built in "shorting bar" which will close the kill circuit when the connector is unplugged from the switch. Unplugging the connector from the switch gives the same results as if the seat is not occupied. Seat switch is just one switch in the safety interlock circuitry that can cause the engine to have no spark. The brake pedal interlock switch is actually 2 switches in one assembly. One of the brake switches is dedicated to starter inhibition, and the other switch is to kill spark and stop the engine. The PTO switch also has a circuit dedicated to the kill wire. You can disconnect the kill wire from the magneto to see if that restores spark. If doing that restores spark, something is grounding the kill wire somewhere. Could be a chafed wire....See MoreNikko won't stay up!
Comments (6)Hi angelainohio. You've helped me before! That information on changing hydrangea color was very informative, and very saddening. Well, I guess it's not easy to turn my Nikko blue without quite a bit of effort. I'm still going to try. I took the ES back to the garden store and ammended the soil about two feet further away from the house. Which, by the way, is brick so it leaches lime; hence making it even more difficult to change him blue. I used peat, manuer, and garden soil mixed with my beautiful clay(HA). Now today it is about 80 degrees and my boy is not drooping! HMMMM. Was he too close to the house (about 2 feet away). Maybe the heat off the brick baked him too much. I don't think the soil change could have affected the plant so soon (one day?)_ Well, what ever the case, so far so good. Now (hopefully) I can focus on the color. I had heard manuer (SPElling?) helped to change the color blue. Have you heard such a thing? Carolet...See MoreMaybe I won't hate my kitchen any more-lighter backsplash(pics)
Comments (52)lynn2006, thanks for the link. I did find it. I think I've got it narrowed down to a 2x4 in silver sands slate or a quartzite in the golden white or oracle. I think the brick shape is a nice medium between the diamond I have now (and like the shape of) and 4x4 squares I don't care so much for.The store we hoped to buy it at (prices are great) doesn't carry Crossville, and that's where we'll be stopping on our way home from vacation, but I really want to look at the Oracle too so maybe we'll have to make an another trip to the Big City. Thanks very much to you and to all....See MoreBaha D
