Homemade cheeseburger (with bacon), homemade french fries, fruitcocktail and pudding.

I normally don't do breakfast for supper but nothing wrong with it. Sounds good.

I don't eat breakfast and very rarely lunch. I sometimes love to have breakfast for dinner. Bacon/sausage and eggs, pancakes, or a BLT sandwich. Quick, easy and tasty. I had nothing exciting for dinner tonight 1 1/2 cheeseburger patties and a small left over salad.

I sometimes have cereal for a snack. Dinner tonight is salmon and broccoli.

While I sometimes eat eggs for dinner I am more likely to reverse the process and have dinner leftovers for breakfast. When I do eat eggs for dinner they are normally wrapped in a flour tortilla with all kinds of herbs. What kind of herb I use depends on what container smells best at that time.

I love breakfast for dinner, and did that regularly when my child was young. I don't actually care to make things like pancakes or biscuits for breakfast but rarely.

I just polished off a big bowl of half & half homemade split pea/ homemade pureed vegetable (made with roasted root veggies, sweet potato, mushrooms, greens) for dinner. I may make some pudding for dessert later.

For brunch I had spinach ravioli, green beans, spring mix and turkey meatballs.

I am going to have chicken and waffles. This place has really good chicken tenders and waffles. Big City Wings.

Chicken thighs roasted with rosemary, baked sweet potatoes, and roasted Brussels. Poached pears in honey, orange, cloves, and cinnamon stick with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. I passed on dinner but may eat my pear later.

A neighbor way up the street gave me a huge basket of pears so we will be eating a lot of them. The boys will start pear sauce in the crock pot in the morning and I'll watch it for them while they are in school.

My husbands favorite is breakfast for dinner. I'll have to do that soon.

Love breakfast for dinner, but today was a low calorie day for us so we had a little bit of chicken breast and a lot of vegetables: broccoli, cabbage slaw, and collards. All very plain.

Breakfast - or breakfasty type foods - are one of my favorite things to eat so I have breakfast whenever :-) Rarely very early in the day as I am not very hungry then but late morning to early afternoon, yes. And often for dinner. Omlettes, scrambles, frittatas, huevos rancheros, quiche, some variation of eggs Benedict, hash. Grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches and bagels and lox are high on my list! I am a lousy pancake maker so only eat those when I go out but I make a mean sourdough waffle!!

I have never cared for dinner leftovers for breakfast.....I don't even care for them much at dinnertime.

Waiting for the oven to heat up for pizza with sundried cherry tomatoes, shallots, red pepper, baby spinach, chicken and cheese.

Gardengal, pancakes are one of my specialities LOL. I don't eat them except rarely with sugar and lemon sprinkled on but I do make a good pancake or so I'm told. I add a spoonful of cottage cheese which makes them even more light. Read it in a magazine years ago. No one here has yet figured out I put cottage cheese in them or my husband wouldn't touch them. LOL.

Breakfast sounds pretty good....actually.....but.....we're having left over Mexican.

Dd is making spaghetti and I made a salad.

We do breakfast for supper every few months. We like eggs and tortillas and bacon and/or sausage and maybe hashbrowns or pancakes from a mix. Leftovers get frozen into breakfast burritos.

We make bacon, sausage, or ham and eggs for supper every once in a while. Sometimes for lunch, too.

Smoked turkey breast and a broccoli/brown rice casserole for dinner tonight. The turkey breast is in the smoker and the casserole is in the oven; dinner is in about an hour.

Hubby LOVES breakfast; he makes some variety of eggs with fixins' several times a week. I'm not a huge breakfast fan, but most days I make myself an omelet or scramble with fruit on the side. It's a meal that keeps me going until dinner time. If hubby ever wanted to have breakfast for dinner, I'd be fine with that, but he likes breakfast in the morning. The evening is for other types of food in his mind.

I often eat breakfast for dinner because i work nights. When i get home at 5:30 am, I make SO breakfast/my dinner. He usually likes pancakes with sausage and bacon. I will make that for him, some bacon and sausage and an egg, either fried or scrambled for myself. My "breakfasts" (i call it that because its the first meal of the day) are usually dinner fare, again because of my schedule. Tonight, my first meal was some potato soup.

Breakfast for me is nearly always yoghurt and a banana. I've made "breakfast" for dinner for decades. In fact, my children said they were half grown before they realized that some people actually had scrambled eggs, biscuits and bacon for breakfast, not dinner!

For an elderly person living alone, "breakfast for dinner" is always a good choice.

I'd be glad to share the recipe...but...LOL..Krustez pancake mix sold at Sams club or in the restaurant sized goods at Walmart. LOL. Follow directions but add a big heaping Tablespoon cottage cheese.

I used to only make homemade until I discovered Krustez brand. It's terrific. Really so much better than other packaged.

I never liked breakfast for dinner - I barely like breakfast for breakfast, but I do often make omelets, quiche, frittata, etc for breakfast. The closest thing to breakfast for dinner I will make is crêpes, and that is so time consuming that I never make them for breakfast. I also make breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, and migas for breakfast, but these are different from dinner or lunch tacos and burritos. I also often make grits for breakfast, and my recipe includes bell peppers, celery, herbs, garlic, eggs, cheese, and sausage. Another favorite breakfast is okonomiyaki, but again, I never make this for dinner, although I will make it for brunch. I always make something for dinner that is much more interesting than breakfast and generally more time consuming.

I don't really cook at breakfast time, we've never been hot breakfast people.

We did have breakfast for dinner just last night. A friend dropped of some of the salsa from a restaurant that we all like. We had omelettes with a little left over ham chopped and added, salsa. Hash browns.

Just now realized as I'm typing I served DH ham two night in a row. He's distracted watching the college football game and probably didn't notice. Was a busy day, and I took a container of flageolet beans with ham that I'd frozen out to thaw, made a salad.

Lars, your first sentence made me laugh. That's how I feel about breakfast if fried eggs are involved. :-)

My daughter complained to me that her box mix pancakes always turned out flat and dense and mine didn't. She doesn't do scratch. Told her my secret. Mix as directed and leave sit for 5 min. It activates the leavening agent in the mix. Do not stir again. Just scoop onto griddle and cook.

My favorite way to eat pancake and eggs is over easy on top of a pancake.

When the boys were in the house full time, we had breakfast for dinner every Thursday. I almost always made a large breakfast both weekend days too.

Now, with a virtually empty nest. We go out for weekend breakfast or breakfast for dinner at our local cafe much more often.

I still make my husband the same "lunch" for his work week on Sunday nights. 5 containers... He has the same thing every day around 9:30 am. Home made english muffin(toasted), hand mixed fried sausage patty, scrambled egg patty and slice of American Cheese. Sometimes some bacon added if I have it already cooked. He takes it apart and nukes it at work. 1/2 c pineapple sometimes with halved grapes or berries added.

I don't know how he eats the same thing every day! Every month, every year.. Lol

He likes bacon, egg and cheese toast sandwiches on the weekend too lately.

Glenda: My Mom has been gone for 8 yrs now, but when I read your post, she immediately popped into my mind. We had a large family. Mom would keep making pancakes till everyone had their fill. Then she'd make one more medium sized, and top it with an egg. She then sat there alone and savored her breakfast in quiet.

We usually have biscuits and sausage gravy for dinner about once a month.

I usually either eat fruit, a breakfast burrito or a sausage, egg, cheese biscuit for breakfast.

I didn't get in the house until 9 pm....too tired to cook. I had planned on chicken and dressing and did get the chicken cooked. We will have it tonight. We had grilled cheese sandwiches....my husband's suggestion. I only ate half of mine....too tired to eat.

yep. Portobella Benedict for supper tonight. We both love Eggs Benedict, but eat low card so no muffins for us.

Gadgets. That's exactly what I do when I make pancakes, waffles, or French toast. I stand at the griddle flipping. Once everyone's done I eat, but to be honest I don't care for breakfast foods so I don't mind at all.

Today we had spaghitti,(thanks to Dawn for making me crave it lol), garlic toast and very small salads. My daughter did more poached pears so there was that.

Tomorrow because of this thread I'm making waffles, sausage, and hash browns. I will stand at the griddle awhile. Lol. I like to make a bunch of extra waffles my daughter can just pop in the toaster oven when she has a craving.

I do enjoy hearing what others have for their main meal as it gives me ideas.

Breakfast has the best options!! I bet I could eat "breakfast" three meals a day for sometime before I got bored or sick of it. Back in the day an elementary school I worked at served breakfast for lunch every so often. I thought that was sooo odd. GOOD but odd.
