Ooh! I like that Blueberry Lemonade. Doubt if it would keep it's nice yellow base color in our heat, but it sure is pretty in your garden........... I hope all goes well with the cataract recovery. Not quite ready for mine yet, but from what I've seen from my DH and friends, doing all those drops can get to be tiresome........I'll add another one of mine that forms the backbone of my garden. The form may be plain, but in our hot climate darker daylilies that look this good at the end of a very hot day get high marks:

    Burning Inheritance:

Hi Jkayd_15 I hope you will try again . Was your picture too large maybe ? I have had that happen to me before as my phone takes images that are 56 inches x 42 inches and 72 dpi , so I have to alter them to 7 inches by 4.25 inches and I increase the dpi to 300 . They seem to post just fine at those limits and image is large enough to see well but not so large that the image gets tossed . I think I saw somewhere on houzz that there was a limit to the size of the image it will accept . Anyway I hope you will try again I would love to see your picture !

Plasko - Thanks for the link. I can't even imagine what 150 buds would look like on one scape. I notice he does recommend the plant only for hybridizing. I do think the scape would have trouble staying upright. Do you have this one? Debra

Signet, Navajo Pony does great here too. I think this was its 3rd year here, I have already shared it twice, and have 4 fans this fall so it multiplies rather well. It has produced a modest number of buds, but that is probably due to being divided up so much. i am looking forward to seeing it in a year where it does not get divided or moved. I think it is a dormant so really should do fine for you. Mine took off nicely and has done well from the start. I got it from Laura, and were nice fans. Yours may just be playing catch up this year. I do have it planted cLoser to the house where it may be a bit more protected. I keep all my favorites planted where I can see them easily several times a day when in bloom.

Yes Regency Heights is a real looker , if you have a chance to add it I highly recommend it I have had Regency Heights for a number of years . Then two years ago I dug it up mid summer to trade a piece and replanted . I am guessing the drought stressed it to the point that when winter came with no snow cover it succumbed due to my stupidity .. Replaced it last year as I had done back flips trying to track this one down originally. It is quite hardy but conditions here have been dreadful the last few years so I don;t dig mid summer anymore.

Sherry, hoping for a quick recovery on your eye surgery.

My favorites posted so far are Betty Bush and Blueberry Lemonade. We got Blueberry Lemonade as a bonus and it sure is a keeper.

    I have lots of B's.

Bandit Bay is a nice small one.

I love the color and edge on Barbara Dittmer. I keep overlooking it when I hybridize. I have to use it more this year.

I am not wild about Barney Barnes. This was a gift plant from the region 2 summer conference in Peoria a couple of years ago.

Bass Gibson is always a favorite here. We love the color and the teeth.

Better by Design is our favorite applique.

Better is One Day was another freebie. It is not my favorite color.

I'd better put the rest in the comments.

Big Bird's Friend is a super tall one.

Bite Me was new last year and did well. It bloomed pretty early too.

Bodacious Bite is one of our favorites--never has a "bad hair day."

Bucky Beaver was planted just last spring. Bob loves this sort of rusty color, but it's not my favorite.

Buddy's Kristie was sent as a bonus. It is a lovely flower but the plant doesn't like our climate much.

Buddy's Wild and Wonderful bloomed like crazy last summer. Look at all those buds!

Buena Fortuna is a strong grower and a late bloomer.

But Wait, There's More is one of the best growers in the yard--maybe one of Richard Norris's best varieties. That's Mary's Baby in the background.

My last B is Buzz Saw.

    That's all for me.

I’m a But Wait, Theres More fan. It looks a lot like Sailor Sky, I’m going to compare stats, Sailor asky did super it’s first season here.

Brad, I was wondering if you ever got to see the rebloom on Belle Isle Sentry, really disappointing : ( I get a bit jealous when I see that pine needle mulch, wish it was available here, however, I remember you work hard to collect it.

Here are the B's that I grow in my Zone 5 garden:

Bass Gibson: a wonderful plant. Love the edge. Fertile both ways.

BEAUTY IN MOTION: I love this Bud Bennett intro. It was a bonus several years ago when I ordered from him. Very popular with visitors.

Bill Norris: A spectacular plant. Reblooms for me year after year.

BLACK FATHOM DEPTHS: I like this small bloom. It is well budded, but it blooms so many at once that it doesn't have a long bloom period to go along with the buds.

    continued

BLUES IN THE NIGHT: New this past spring. A Bud Bennett intro that I am looking forward to seeing what it does this year.

BURTONSVILLE BLUSH: Another Bud Bennett intro. One of the first ones I bought from him. It will occasionally throw an extra petal.

BOLD SYMPHONY: A Bud Bennett intro that is very nice. I moved it early in the spring. It will look better this year.

BO KNOWS: The last Bennett intro for the Bs. Acquired this past spring. This year it should be better.

BOLD MARAUDER: Always makes a statement in the early midseason cycle.

Baby Blue Eyes: Does well for me. It increases rather well.

I will have to post the rest of mine later.

Thanks for your comment on Bombay Silk, Maryl. I've only had it a short while but it is meeting expectations!

Sherry, I used to see Belle Isle Sentry's reblooms every year or at least some ot them, but the past 3 years for whatever reason it started getting its scapes later. Must be the weather?

Like Julia, I most likely will not be posting. I had a great goal of getting all my photos organized but lots of things interfered with that this year!! But that doesn’t keep me from appreciating all yours! But Wait, There’s More appears to be appropriatelay named and is impressive in that clump. Brad, I am hoping Berma survives for me. Your photos of that one are always nice. Debra, Boundless Beauty also lives up to its name for you. Always enjoy the Alphabet!

Yes Sherry a speedy recovery to you. It will be great to have it behind you. Beautiful B's everyone, you certainly started with great ones Sherry!

Bela Lugosi in different light and time of day. Had more than one poly.

    Big Bird

Black Arrowhead - I got this planted in the fall and am looking forward to seeing how it performs.

Blue Sheen at noon and then in the evening. I did not think too much of this one the first year or two but it has become a stellar performer with blooms in every month into October.

    Blueberry Candy

    Bonanza a real oldie.

Buffy's Doll. I know many of you do not like flowers in the foliage but she is such a delicate small one.
