Re-paint for south facing family room. Color ideas?

I have lived with this teal-ish blue for a lot of years. Never wild about it but after two paint attempts where I didn't wind up with what I was after, I gave up. Now I'm ready to tackle another paint job. First step is to re-coat the two green wicker chairs (one showing) to a pale yellow. Then, I,m thinking I,d like a paler - not white, towards ivory? - on the walls.

The wall with the French doors and flanking windows faces south; there's another set of windows towards the east corner of the room. And recessed two skylights, pretty much centered. I'm thinking I might leave the blue on the French door bay, as an accent - there are plenty of teal-ish accents in the room. But that's an easy decision once I see how it looks.

I'm interested in thoughts on shades of paint...and other musings always interesting to read, too, of course.
