Need help choosing exterior color for colonial w brick/siding
Comments (5)Hi there, We haven't done it yet, but I still want to. I actually found a neighborhood near here (tipped off by my neighbor who's been thinking of doing this for ten years but has yet to pull the trigger) where there are tons and tons of houses like ours, most painted a single color. They look great. And it's in a very fancy area, which I think explains the greater prevalence of doing this than my specific neighborhood, which is nice but not ritzy (since painting the brick adds a lot of $$). I took pictures of some of these houses, which I'm happy to post. I think it's important though to hire a really really good painter, and to shell out the extra $ for good paint. I've seen some crappy jobs and it's not worth it....See MorePlease help choose exterior paint color for brick house with tan roof

Comments (17)Nice house and yard. Consider choosing a dark bold brown for the fascia/soffit (and, perhaps, around your bold red door) but leave all the window trim white. A lighter brown for the siding you're adding would work well. https://www.pellabranch.com/blog/global-blogs/black-window-frames/ If the additional work to be done is changing out the windows, replace the large ?fixed? window with a pair that open and consider choosing black frames. You could then consider choosing a dark bold brown for window trim as well....See MoreTEAL? CORAL? Need to choose Exterior Paint Next Few Days….. HELP
Comments (6)I like the colour of your siding & wouldn’t change. If this is a beach house, I would paint the front door a soft beach glass blue/green. I would also play with the colour of your trim. Perhaps a darker version of the front door colour instead of white. So everything that is currently white, paint a darker grey-ed blue/green....See More- 3 years ago
