Honestly, for the amount of time it took, I have absolutely no complaints. From demo to done, I think all in we were about four weeks and change, including waiting for countertop fabrication. It's hard remembering there was ever a different kitchen, honestly. It's so perfect for our aesthetic and our house - it was absolutely worth it!

We had a licensed contractor install the window so our siding outside would be fitted properly. I’m sure he would have mentioned or corrected the framing if he felt there would be a problem. Our alcove is waterproofed with Redgard, the blind is vinyl, I got my tempered glass custom ordered from Portland Glass and I have no children. Sammy: “A disaster in the making”? Thanks everyone! We are really happy with how it all turned out Pensivern, we used SW snowbound..we found that SW alabaster looked too yellow in our house? We had a hard time deciding between snowbound and the SW pure white..tbh I loved them both! So I think you will be happy with the SW pure white for sure! It's so hard to pick...but I learned it's all about the lighting in your house..I think it will all come together just fine for you! Can't wait to see pics!

Sue - I got the tiles from a local tile shop here MI. I saw them online and fell in love and went seraching. I found them right away. I would guess any good tile store would have them or something very similar. Holly - amazon! search berkey stand :)
