without knowing the style you want, it's hard to say. you can get slipper chairs for a few hundred. I think an mcm danish-style chair would pair well w/your sofa. you can find those for 400-600, depending on where you look. that's why I mentioned craigslist. i mean, you can get a club chair off wayfair or overstock for a few hundred. and they look like it! i like these wood mcm style chairs.

Chuppi and Dawn.... love love your ideas and suggestions ... especially like the look of the navy West Elm chair and how good it looks with the rug... the other idea (orange chair) is great too but trying to go in a different color direction. Have used orange as accents for over 10’years.... I’ll go sit in that chair this weekend to see if it’s comfy... I like that it has a modern look... because I’m not getting a love seat and don’t have the room for another sofa... looking for chairs that are comfy and can curl up in. I have room for two chairs side by side and then another chair. Possibly going to look at one of those new modern recliners that aren’t huge.

This is a pretty room with too much Hobby Lobby decor. You've got vases of sticks in display niches. Reminds me of a hotel lobby. Find something you love and want to look at every day to put there. I chose a couple of ethnic artifacts, but it could be art glass, or antique pieces. Here are a couple of rugs that will work better in your room:
