I've never seen that logo before, that I'm aware of. Looking at the photo sideways (because it appears that the top cuff of the sock is on the right side of the photo), it looks like the logo might be an "A." But, I know that's not the Adidas logo... Can you ask the person what brand the sock is?

In keeping with the line that maifleur is taking...the logo may be an Asia company knock-off created to resemble the graphic design of Adidas, It's the same graphic letter style that Adidas uses.

I, also, agree that the sock may no longer be manufactured/retailed. I learned that lesson the hard way having bought a few pair of socks that I thought I would like. I did. But when I went back to the retailer a few months later [K Mart] to get a new supply...they were no longer available. The really sad part of my experience is that I've never found another sock that matches the overall construction of the one I loved. And...quite coincidentally,the logo on my old sock resembles the sock logo that you're looking for.

If I were you...I'd attempt to find the same sock construction and forget about the logo. The sock market is surprisingly fickle and fleeting.

DH likes IZOD 'crew' socks (actually over the calf like dress socks). Warm. They stay up. I recently bought two 7-packs of mixed colors online at HR (His Room). Good value.

I looked at my running socks, actually I only wear a couple of brands, plus my hiking socks. The brand names don’t always mean their logos will be similar to their name. For example Swiftwick’s logo almost looks like an upside down A. I also wear Balega and theirs is even hard to find. Most all make different length socks, including crew socks, and some make Merino wool for Trail or winter running. I usually wear merino wool for hiking.

Here is an article that might be useful if this is the type you are looking for. Darn Tough is on this list, and I find they are very good for all-purpose and hiking. All of these shown are for men, but they make women’s too, and again, most come in a version in taller lengths.

Seeing the mention of wool socks anyone buying the should ask if the person that they are for can wear wool or have a problem with any type of fiber. I was gifted with some wonderful looking wool socks but even with other pairs under them wearing once my feet and legs to the height of the socks looked like they had been boiled. I also react the same way to Rame.

I've had good luck with several brands of socks that are made in America, some also use "Grown in America" fibers. That's not the name, the only actual brand name I remember offhand is "Farm to Feet" -- nice and sturdy. Easy to google other brands. May cost a bit more than megastore brands, but so far mine are holding up alot better than my usual cheapies.

I don’t think it’s Sherry’s suggestion- the logo (while similar) is the wrong way up.

I really think it was a rip off Adidas. That was my first thought, that it was Adidas but the logos didn't match. I agree, even if you can find the exact logo, they probably don't make the item.

I think it looks like a lower case r and l. But the only one I could think of was Ralph Lauren

Mystery somewhat solved. Learned more information on bottom of the sock. Able to find "point6" socks on Amazon. Santa's job sure is challenging. Thank you everyone!!!

Nice socks, and made in US. Glad you found them. They must have changed their logo on the socks. Looks like they have something different now on the tops.

Yeah, the newer logo really looks different. New one looks like 6, which would emphasize the brand name. The old one still looks like an A to me.
