Could it be delicatus splendour? Here is a pic of our granite island in delicatus splendour.

African Beige, Kashmir Gold, Cream Violet, Santa Cecilia, Perzalite, Giallo Topazio--best I could find. Hope it helps!

Looks like it could be Alaska White

It looks similar to mine. Maybe Yellow Amber.

My guess is Santa Cecilia.

Sarapamela - One thing that is important to know when shopping for granite counters is that the stone names vary from yard to yard. Your granite looks similar to ours, though with more brown. Ours is called Alaska White, but when we were at granite yards, we saw very similar slabs called Alaska White, White Delicatus, Bianco Antico, Bianco Delicatus, White Springs, Lennon - whew! Also, one yard's Bianco Delicatus looked like the Alaska White at a different yard, and so on. You will go out of your mind if you only shop by name.

My advice is to take your sample to several granite yards that have large selections, and ask them to show you what they have that is similar, without worrying about the name. You could call ahead and say "do you have any slabs in stock that are a white background with streaks of black and taupe?" or something like that. While you are at it, take with you a cabinet door or cabinet sample (if you have it); it helps enormously when looking at the large selection of granites at a yard.

BTW, we went to 4 different granite yards before finding "The Slab". Don't let it stress you out - it was actually fun!

I meant to answer when you first posted but I didn't have an good pictures of my granite, which is could be: Colonial Cream but you might not like how it looks on the bigger slab compared with the one little piece you have. Like alwaysfixin said you just have to got to several yards and look at what they have and what they call it. Tell them you want something "light, white-ish with some cream and slight veining" or whatever your requirements are and they will show you the 5 or 6 slabs that might work for you. I fell in love with the Colonial Cream at one granite yard and kept looking but really nothing else every came close. It was installed this past Wednesday and I am thrilled!!

There is GO dark and GO light. I don't know how many slabs of GO I looked at before finding a creamy one to match my cream cabinets. The larger one does look like GO. If there is any garnet bits in the sample it might be Santa Cecilia. I think the advice of just taking the sample with you and a sample of your cabinets to various yards is a good one. I did like going to various yards and checking out nature's art work. Granite slabs are gorgeous.

I agree with Blfenton. When I was looking, GO looked like your larger sample. But, really, it could be any number of stones.

I ditto everything Alwaysfixin said. Slabs vary by lot. Some lots are much more attractive than others. You just have to go look! It's fun!

Thanks, Everyone. Your comments were helpful! Here's the latest....The good news is that I found another slab like the one pictured. Unfortunately it is being installed in a home near my condo on Monday, so the search for it continues! They call it Zemlya (Zemlia??)in some places, but it is also called Delicatus... and you all are SO right about the names and variances in slabs. I realized that looking at a sample of granite is a bit like seeing just the tail of an elephant and thinking you know what an elephant looks like!?

I have my guy looking for a white slab with touches of taupe, brown, cream and a little black, too, without a lot of movement. He thinks it might end up being a Delicatus or a Light Santa Cecelia or a Light G Ornamental, but I don't care what it is called...I like how it looks with the floor (visible in photo) and the new white cabinets that are being built for us as we "speak"?! So...wish me luck in finding a slab that looks a lot like this one!
