Any suggestions which throw pillows will go with the couch?
Comments (1)I love a bright, clear accent color for pillows and lamps. You could do a teal, a yellow, a royal blue, a grassy green. I would go with almost a mid century style lamp and tailored looking pillows with a combination of textures and patterns. https://www.houzz.com/products/2-tone-matte-and-gloss-teal-blue-ceramic-table-lamp-prvw-vr~119612892 https://www.houzz.com/products/pillow-18x18-turquoise-feathered-velvet-prvw-vr~122115714 https://www.houzz.com/products/tizia-knife-edge-pillow-indigo-teal-prvw-vr~37450220...See MoreLight Warm Brown LVP?!? Comments (17)[Note: The numbering used in this comment refer to the original post, as Hillcrest and Elgin Oak have swapped positions in the subsequent post of den photos.] #1 Elgin Oak has my vote, and here's why: I'm not a fan of the board stripes of #4, English Breakfast. (You want attention to be drawn out the windows to your lake view -- not to your floor's stripes.) #3 Fawn has a more uniform coloration than #4, but is a pinky brown, a fact which is accentuated next to the gray. #2 Hillcrest looks pinky brown next to the gray, too, wheras the gray just makes #1 Elgin Oak more golden. #1 Elgin Oak includes the Maple cabinetry's golden yellow in its coloration, and is the brightest option (if you are trying to keep the space light & bright). A previous poster asked about going darker with the flooring, and you may want to try that before making a selection. (Unless you already know you want a light floor.)...See MoreLVP suggestions
Comments (2)I would look for a light beige (not gray!) LVP for the whole downstairs. With those warm cabinets, stick with warm tones. You could also go mid-brown if you like darker. When we chose our flooring, we went to several (well, more than several, actually) locally owned flooring stores and took home dozens of samples to narrow it down. You need to do that. Then, if you have narrowed it down to the one you think you want, I recommend purchasing a single box of the flooring. You can then drag those planks around your house, eyeballing how they look against the cabinets, walls, furniture, etc. Good luck....See Morethinkdesignlive
