After the stone is up, she might have a dozen new color directions to chase. :D Exterior isn't like interior. Interior you do not have to have every last stitch in place to fit a room with color. As long as the basics, permanent elements are in place you can work color. Exterior isn't near as malleable because Mr. Sunshine is so darn intense and direct outside. Get the foundation covered in stone and then take another look. I'm thinking, with the stone in place, she should consider going light and neutral on the body or commit big and go with a dark, punchy color scheme with some drama. Safe midtones could add up to just a mediore color outcome for that house. A really cute house, btw.

Have you tried doing Dry Sage 50%? It will be the same color tone but lighter. On my house my trim was SW River Birch - a gray taupe color. I needed to paint my stucco and wanted a lighter gray and rather than going through a gazillion samples trying to find the right light gray, I did SW River Birch at 25% and it was perfect. SW should even be able to mix a BM color for you if you want to get their sample pots - they're cheaper than BM quarts!

I have no knowledge of the paint you are looking for but just want to say how much I like your house and yard!! Beautiful! I would like having the porch and trim a different color from the body of the house. The gray goes really well with the white. If you are going for a more monochromatic look, maybe paint the trim and porch a really pale shade of gray?

Where is the house???? OMG Gorgeous house. That house has a European/ maybe Hollywood Regency design and I would not do white and navy. That's just my opinion. Don't rush. This all costs a lot of money and you need to do this right. Those slender columns are appropriate to the style of your home. Boxing them in is a big mistake IMO. You're taking a delicate detail on this house and 'fixing' it with a sledgehammer. I can understand not liking the scalloped trim but I'm sure that can be replaced with something more streamlined. I would consider adding some decorative embellishment to the columns Also, I would not use a BM or SW paint on that lovely house.
