BM Hale Navy?
Comments (5)Bless you, dvarnell. Not only have you used Hale Navy, but in a hall bath which is where I will put it. There is a guest room off this bath, but it mainly serves as a powder room 99.99% of the time. It is windowless, but I like dark intense colors and have dark red paint in there now with no problem. I'd rather have rich and deep than a too bright color. I'm going to get a color sample at BM tomorrow amd can't wait. I have no problem giving you my email address if you can't post a picture, but not sure if there is any way to do that without posting it right here in the forum....See MoreWhat white to use with a BM Hale Navy accent wall?
Comments (5)Thanks. I appreciate all of this although I'm less worried about the bedding right now, as I do think our comforter will look good with the navy (although we might be changing up the bedding down the line at some point anyway). We have to pick paint colors asap due to some compilations in other construction so I'm trying to figure out which white to do on the other walls if we only do the wall behind the bed in hale navy. We will probably keep the trim Simply White but need a wall color that goes well with the navy! Looking for a warm white, I think. Thank you!...See MoreHale Navy. Comments (44)What color is your kitchen now? Meaning what are you used to? I have a north facing kitchen. The previous owners refaced the cabinets in a medium wood tone. The counters are uba tuba which is pretty close to black. Overall it is so dark. I don't like it, but I am coming from a white kitchen. When I remodel I am going back to white. If you like the idea of navy but aren't sure about a large amount of it, just use it on your island, or just on the lower cabinets. I personally don't like two-tone upper and lower cabinets, but it is moderately popular now....See MoreDare I paint my house BM Hale Navy?
Comments (32)yeah, I think I like the cream w/the green. and the navy. But the more I look at that pic w/the dark trim, it kind of grows on me! I'd want more wood though. and maybe spruce up the landscaping. I suppose if you did a medium gray, you could do a dark charcoal trim. It just depends on the overall look you want. i do like the cedar posts though. and I'd prob add one or two more for symmetry it would be lot to redo all of the eaves w/cedar, but what if you stripped and stained them the cedar shade like the posts?? or you could do all of that jasper, but the underside the cream? or just the stiles cream? you'd have to play around w/diff looks...See Moreljk1
