Master Bedroom Design/placement help!
Comments (2)You probably can't center it under that other window without the door interfering, but is there room to place it on that wall and still access each side of the bed and open the door without it hitting the bed? You can tape it out with painter's tape to see instead of moving the bed, if that's too difficult. If that would work, then you can use draperies to fool the eye into thinking the bed is centered on a larger window, by covering part of the wall to the right with drapes and not exposing the right edge of the window. Like this:Or simply cover the window and wall almost fully, if that suits you: Or you could leave the bed where it is and just change the swing of the door, so it opens the other way - it will then block the view into the room when it's partially open. If you're not handy, it would probably take a good handyman only a couple of hours to switch it and would be worth it!...See MoreMaster Bedroom design - help needed and appreciated!
Comments (0)Hi everyone! Me and my boyfriend moved together about 2 years ago and we tried to style our house in certain ways. We have bought some furniture for our bedroom that I love (2 bedside tables and a chest-of-drawers), a bed and we couldn't find a wardrobe in the same color, so we chose one that we thought seems ok (not so sure about that now :/). Below I'm attaching some pics of our current bedroom situation. I don't want to give up on the bedside tables and my boyfriend doesn't want to give up on the wardrobe, so everything we have now must stay (except for the curtains - we can change those). We want to decorate around but don't know how to start and we're pretty afraid of failure :( I know our bedroom doesn't look really great now, but I do hope that adding some decorations would make it more beautiful. The style that we would like to have is cozy, but keeping the glam vibe too. I feel like we're totally lost and bought things we liked without thinking if they really go together or not. If you have any ideas what we can do to make this space look better, please feel free to share: starting from lamps to any other decorations. Base color we want is gray, but we haven't decided to any accent color, so anything is much appreciated. P.S. We'll place the TV on the wall, so the surface of our chest-of-drawers would need some love too....See MoreMaster Bedroom (6m X 3.90m) Design Help

Comments (0)Hi! This seems so trivial but I’m really struggling to select a duvet cover and coverlet/quilt for our master bedroom that coordinates well with the C&B Danielle king channel headboard with storage base in Van Gogh fog which is a dark almost charcoal like gray in a velvet like fabric. I’m struggling to find something that I think looks good with it. we’re renovating our first house and I don’t have a great imagination, but we have dark hardwoods and our nightstands and dressers will be a dark dark wood like espresso. We will have a cream gray rug on the floor. I want a spa like feel, but don’t want to go to dark or “to neutral”. Any suggestions for color or color combos for the duvet are appreciated! We will have true white sheets. See pics below -...See MoreYadira
