Help with grout...not color. I am getting myself sick over this!

I have completed my tiring shower/bath remodel. It came out just about perfect Shower is 3x6 white glazed subway tile with just hair over 1/16" joint (I had slight bump on tiles plus added a 1/32 spacer). I have 2" hex marble shower floor with 1/8" joints. My husband touched my shower floor job and guess had moved one of the sheets and now 3 of my hex tiles near touch 1/16 no more (upsetting). My floor is a slate look-a-like which is very dull, gritty like (no sheen or slickness at all) with slight texture grooving. PART MAKING ME SICK ---> I don't know what grout to use!! I want my grout to be lighter/med gray. I have had experience in my life with efflorescence, discoloration, powdering grout, cracking grout. Not saying this was from me, just have first hand witnessed it. I have heard nightmares on Tec Power Grout, so don't think I can go there. For my subway tiles, what is best to use? I want color consistent, to feel/look like grout, no curing issues. Will FOR SURE Flex CQ or Fusion fit in subway joints or go with unsanded reg grout? Shower floor...Do I also use Flex CQ or Fusion as maybe not best for shower floor or use standard sanded grout like Keracolor? Three of hex tiles are touching, so if go sanded (or Fusion type) on rest of hex tiles what will I need to do for the 3 near touching ones (1/16")?. Slate like main flooring....What will be best here without grabbing onto gritty tile and also have great strength and color retention? Should I use grout release on slate like tile first? So more less what grout for each of my situations? I feel frozen on what to do. THANK YOU SO MUCH
