The shower door was installed yesterday. Here's a picture The door is on pivot hinges on the top & bottom. It can be open inward and just clears the rainshower head by 1/8" or so. Pure luck because I wasn't counting on that working so well. The advantage now is that we can put hooks for our towels underneath the window -- and still be able to reach them when we are done showering. If the door had to open outward, the towels would've been behind the shower door. There's really no other good place to put them and the plan was always for hooks under the window. I'm glad it worked out.

The shower is 5 x 5 (60 inch square). We don't have a tub in the room and that allowed for more floospace to be devoted to a very big shower, which I love. It's nice and roomy. I use the ledge for shaving legs and also propping a leg up to so I don't have to bend down to soap up the lower part of my leg and foot! The bench is out of the way and so doesn't detract from the size of the shower or make it feel cramped in any way. It could be used for sitting, but I never do that. I discovered an additional unexpected but very nice advantage of having such a large shower, which is that it doesn't seem to require as much cleaning as other smaller showers I have had in the past. Let me explain....since I shower while standing in the center of this big square "box", the soap, shampoo, and water don't really get splashed onto the walls of the shower very much, because I'm actually standing pretty far from the walls. The wall where the showerhead is and the bottom tiles that meet the shower pan all around do get a little wetter, but nothing much gets on the rest of the tiles throughout the shower. Even the shower glass doesn't get very wet. I clean the inside of the shower once every other week, but could probably go longer than that. There never seems to be any buildup of anything. This is with two adults using it on a daily basis. Best of luck with your project and please post pictures when you're done!

The tops are fantasy brown granite and the tub and shower faucets are Delta Vero but the sink faucets are American Standard Fern because the reviews for the Vero taps complained about lots of splashing out of the sink. Very happy with the Fern. The shower tiles are Leonarda IKI color Terra but not sure about the river rock. I ordered all the taps and faucets online so was a bit worried that I wouldn't like them but I love all of them. The rain head is excellent with enough pressure to rinse conditioner out of my long hair although I'm still glad I got the handhelds for ease of cleaning. Thanks for looking :)

Greige is an amazing neutral. I myself am extremely drawn to greige, for years. In everything. Half of the time, my nail polish color is greige too)) Much lighter greige than shown here, but still If you love greige as much as me-no reason for you not to go for it. But you need to like it a lot, since it will stay in your bathroom for a very long time. I'd never pick white for the bathroom(except for fixtures and accents)-but a lot of people highly prefer it, and have it done in different wonderful ways. In terms of boldness-I'd say white and greige are the same..it boils to what you feel happier about.. As for the accent. It's much easier to get tired of accents. Yours looks nice and I like the shape; but you need to be sure you love it enough. It shouldn't just "go" or "work", in your eyes. Lots of things will go with other things, and lots of things will work. You need to make sure you're picking the one that has a staying power. To you, I mean.
