That is a picture of Clarkia elegans. It is also known as C unguiculata. Do some more Googling - it has been developed by seed merchants into many colours both double and single. Yours is nearer the wild species in appearance.

Pictures would be most helpful. Or, if you can't provide pix, can you describe the flower structure? How many petals, arranged in what manner, borne singly or in bunches, flower diameter and so forth? Vanda orchids have foliage that's pretty distinctive, dark green, leathery, smooth and rather two-dimensionally stacked in arrangement, and I can't think of anything that resembles this off the top of my head.

cercis47- How picky r u? If u answer 1/2arse, get 2 small wires(u pick the thickness(go to a metal supply store for more pick) 48" long(or whatever u want), some small wire to twist around(aluminum picture wire???) and hold them together near the top where they split. Wrap the wire around a few times then over the top between the 2 steel rods (this will hold this piece from sliding down) . Get black shrink tube from frys to heat shrink to hold everything from the small wire near the top down, and bend the 2 at the top how u want. How is that for a cheap fix?

I saw that! Gorgeous. Where I looked it was only in charcoal grey and not black. But I’ll look again! I just can’t imagine, there’s not other people who don’t need a full 8 yards or want to shell out over $1k if they only need 1/2 the toll or part of the roll. I just assumed there was a site or some resource that would offer remnants or 1/2 or partial rolls of designer paper. If not, maybe I need to start a little business, lol.
