Guest Picks: Delightfully Daring Wallpaper
Deck the walls in fabulous, fearless wallpaper brimming with bold patterns and bright colors
After years of being considered passé, wallpaper is back with a vengeance! Flip through the pages of any shelter magazine, and you'll be hard-pressed to find a home that doesn't have at least one room decked out in decorative paper. The options truly have never been so stylish, and narrowing down your selections can almost be overwhelming. To help cut through the chaos, here are 20 of my personal favorites. — Lindsay from The Pursuit of Style
Up a Tree Wallpaper, Ming on Tea Green
Meg Braff is one of my favorite interior designers, so it's no surprise that I adore every single wallpaper in her collection. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Up a Tree pattern in this turquoise and coral colorway.
Decor Chinois Wallpaper
Hand-painted wallpaper is at the top of my dream home wish list. The pink background of this chinoiserie paper is an unexpected twist on an otherwise traditional scene.
Pali Wallpaper, Bleu
I first saw Manuel Canovas' Pali paper used in a glamorous bathroom several years ago, and it's been in the back of my mind ever since.
Hicks Hexagon Wallpaper, Pink
A geometric print in a punchy colorway keeps this wallpaper from being too masculine.
Bengale Wallpaper, Paprika
Bengale Toile is another favorite from Manuel Canovas. For a bold look, paper the walls and use the coordinating fabric on the upholstery.
Martinique 'A' Wallpaper
Banana leaf prints are having a comeback of their own. If you're up for tropical, you can't beat the iconic Martinique wallpaper made famous by the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Hummingbirds Wallpaper
It doesn't get more ladylike than the hummingbirds and butterflies on this Cole & Son wallpaper.
Imperial Trellis Wallpaper, Citrine
I think it's safe to say that Kelly Wearstler's Imperial Trellis has crossed over from a trend to a classic.
Lobby Wallpaper, Goldfinger
I'm eager for an opportunity to use this wallpaper covered with metallic lobsters. I'm thinking my parents' house on Cape Cod would be the perfect place!
Margarita Floral Wallpaper Sample, Indigo
Indian block prints lend a relaxed bohemian vibe to any space.

Great Harbor Wallpaper, White
If you don't want to spend the time searching for vintage nautical charts but love the look of a room papered in them, this Ralph Lauren wallpaper is the perfect alternative.
Little Egypt Wallpaper, Iznik on Ivory
This is another one of my favorites from Meg Braff. It would look amazing in a room filled with blue and white pottery.
Penguin Library Wallpaper
Being the perpetual book nerd that I am, I can't help but love this Penguin Classics printed paper.
Zebra Wallpaper, Blue/Yellow
Scalamandre's zebra wallpaper has been a little played out in the traditional red and black colorway, which is why I prefer this lavender and citron version.
Lotus Wallpaper
The quality of Farrow & Ball's papers is second to none, and this large-scale graphic print is stunning.
Perroquet Wallpaper
I have a swatch of this Nina Campbell wallpaper on my inspiration board. Totally on the "someday" list.
Acanthus Stripe, Shadow
Metallic vines offer a little more pizzazz than your standard stripe, but are still transitional enough to work in a number of spaces.
Copper on Elephant Manila Hemp Rivets Wallpaper
I'd love to see Phillip Jeffries' Rivets wallpaper in a masculine library.
