What's for Dinner ... Tuesday?
Comments (12)Pam: Your supper sounds great too. I like baked ham. I use 93% ground turkey. I fry it for about 3 to 4 minutes per side (depends on how thick they are) and use a thermometer. Remove from stove at once. Let sit for several minutes. Sometimes even then they can be dry. Glenda: You got to eat one of my favorite meals and it was practically free. Good for you. Jasdip: Sorry to hear your tooth/gums are sore. I wouldn't mind sharing your meal. (I still haven't tried kale) Raven: I hope your headaches soon goes away. It's nice you have someone to help with cooking. It's a favorite of mine ... steak. Jim: I surely do wish I had a piece of your pot pie. Sounds great. Old Fixer: As long as it has bacon, I'll love it. Also wouldn't mind some of the ice cream. Deeby: Simple and quick. And followed by your Coke. Comments (32)Today I had a burger at a local place I've never been to before, it was pretty good. I've been craving my black bean soft taco recipe all week though so I made them yesterday with homemade tortillas and they hit the spot! Mhmmmm good! I feel like a Campbell's commercial! ;) Slow cooked black beans with seasonings in the Crock-Pot all day, make the rice, combine rice and beans with some homemade salsa, pile on a homemade tortilla with shredded cheese, sour cream and pico if you like...delicious!...See MoreWhat's on the menu for your main meal today...Saturday?
Comments (33)Friends of ours had a 50th Anniversary party last night at the hunt club with about 85 people in attendance. The catered meal was sliced beef tenderloin with a horseradish sauce, chicken marbella, smashed potatoes, roast asparagus and roast carrot sticks. When dessert was brought out, I was talking to a couple who run a local winery and so got in line for dessert late, and just missed the last piece of chocolate pie, and the other two options of coconut cake and rhubarb cobbler didn't tempt me....See MoreAnything special for your main meal today (Fri)?
Comments (22)adellabedella_usa, I made a roasted tomato salsa with the last of my tomato harvest this year. It was so good that, I've been buying tomatoes ever since and making a weekly batch. I eat it with sliced avocados, scrambled eggs, warmed corn tortillas, and occasionally chips....See More- 7 years ago
