What would you do? Privacy that still looks good for front entry?
Comments (15)If it were me, and budget allowed it, I'd replace the door and the sidelights with a solid door for safety reasons, and you can match the period of the house. If that's not your concern, then how about just a roll-up shade mounted on the door to cover the glass, and then uncover it when you want the light. Or match the nice sheers you have. I would NOT want anyone to see in through my front door, but maybe that's me, and certainly would depend on the neighborhood you live in....See MoreLooking for exterior entrance inspiration!

Comments (17)That's a beautiful home. I don't think that area really NEEDS anything. If you need a place to put your keys and your purse, mail, etc, a small table like is there will work, maybe even a narrower taller one and have it face the door (on the taller wall). Comments (6)On the right lower deck, I’d have a seating area … chairs, table, bench, etc, any color: I’d also have a few bigger pots of plants, instead of a bunch of smaller ones.
