Looking for ideas on how to decorate the front entry way

The previous owner had a welcome sign, another decorative sign, and some plants. How can i decorate this in the short term? Ive already gotten some great ideas (darker color house, new garage door, fixing the stepway, etc.) but id love to make my house look a little more inviting while we fix the inside some.

For the short term and since it is fall some potted mums would look nice.

No signage. Fall bloomers like mums will increase curb appeal.

The first think I'd do is remove the rubbermaid container and shoes. Is there room for a small bench with a shelf beneath (for shoes)? Something like this.... I like the basket on the wall and the small table. Take everything off the table except for one nice plant. You have wall space in there for a couple of decorative/seasonal signs. Replace your current rugs with something more colorful and your done!

I don't mind the table and mirror and can't really think of anything besides art that would fit on that wall. Can't see the table details well but could it be painted? How about red to match your lovely door? What would say "fresh and cozy" to you for that space? Have you thought of a new light fixture? A runner and a larger rug in the entrance could look good. I don't find the clock visible from the door to be welcoming so I'd be tempted to remove it.

Looks good as is. Measure carefully before deciding. Depending upon the pattern, wallpaper could end up just making a calm space just look "busy" without adding interest to the space. That's a beautiful home. I don't think that area really NEEDS anything. If you need a place to put your keys and your purse, mail, etc, a small table like is there will work, maybe even a narrower taller one and have it face the door (on the taller wall). Wait until you actually move in and see how you live in the space. You may not want anything there either.

On the right lower deck, I’d have a seating area … chairs, table, bench, etc, any color:

I’d also have a few bigger pots of plants, instead of a bunch of smaller ones.

I’d get plant stands or other bases to have varying levels of decor you do, not just have everything sitting on the decking.

Thank you all! i took down the welcome sign that she left and we dont have any plants yet but i will get some this weekend! I appreicate the feedback!

Add some pumpkins with the mums/fall blooms.

Yes! Lots of holidays in the next few months. Easy to decorate and look homy till you finalize a plan for the spring and summer months
