Breakfast nook window treatment help needed please

We've moved into our new build a couple of months ago and are just now starting to explore window treatments. The choices are overwhelming and we don't want to make any expensive mistakes. In the past we've had silhouettes, wood blinds, plantation shutters and cellular top down bottom up. We have no complaints about any of the above (other than the dusting that the blinds required), however, this house has a different feel than our other houses and we're looking for something a little more clean and airy (we're in a coastal area in NC).

The main challenge is privacy. The window on the right looks smack dab into our neighbors yard, with a view of their central air conditioner, so we do not envision ever wanting to have whatever treatment we choose fully opened. The other window looks out onto a retention pond and some woods beyond, so privacy is neither needed nor wanted, and unlike the other window we would almost always want this view exposed.

Here's what we've considered thus far: Shutters, perhaps the kind that fold into themselves so that the back facing window can be opened; relaxed roman shades in a semi sheer fabric, maybe an outside mount above the windows. But how would it look with one side always up and one side always down?

We've considered silhouettes but somehow they feel a little too contemporary. The table will be replaced with a basic wood pedestal that will have a creamy white base and distressed top. Not sure about chairs yet but nothing too formal, and the light fixture will be gone as well.

The windows on the right don't get a lot of sun (northeast exposure plus the neighbors are close), so we're considering woven wood shades that are unlined so at least some light gets in.

Appreciate any and all suggestions!
