Decorating a long, narrow family room with awkward door placement.

This is our downstairs family room. It is long and narrow, and the door placement makes furniture placement very difficult. Currently we are making do with a TV that is off-center from the loveseat. We used to have the computer in there as well, but we are moving that back into the office. We want to create a comfortable seating are that can be used as a family gathering space. We'd also like to have a table in there for crafts/puzzles/games.

We will be replacing the carpet with either LVT or wood-look tile (see my other post https://www.houzz.com/discussions/tile-vs-lvt-planks-in-a-basement-family-room-dsvw-vd~5504598?n=5). I kinda like the fake brick feature wall and am willing to use it in the decor. I don't like the fake beams, but will not get rid of them yet. (Please excuse the construction mess.)
