And just so you know, mills have a hard time working with 2 part products. The stuff used to finish on site is MIXED on site in small batches. Anything used in a mill (that has the capacity) will need to special-order the COMMERCIAL version of the mix. That gets weird and expensive REALLY quickly. Like SUPER WEIRD. The 'hardeners', once mixed with the finish (the stuff in the BIG container) starts a chemical reaction that doesn't stop. As SOON as you mix the hardener to the finish (like in a VAT sitting in the mill) the 'spray' nozzles (or rollers) have to be monitored. Bona's products (like Loba) go stale inside of a few hours. That means the nozzles have problems, the rollers have issues, the VAT has to be changed out/cleaned, etc. Bona produces the commercial application stuff (ie. in the mixer in a vat) but that is tough to find on this side of the Ocean. The European market has access to all of this because A. many work with Bona on many things and B. it isn't very far to ship and C. The VOC requirements in Europe are SOOO tough that it only makes sense to have the specialty mechanisms available in the mill. I personally choose site finished. It is the gold standard of the flooring industry. It is only a few days longer to install and Bona HD cures VERY quickly (5 days or less). It is cheaper in the long run as well.

Oddly enough, this client wants a honey oak finish...I tried to talk them out of it, but they're set. I showed them a sample of Bona Amber Seal, and it wasn't nearly amber enough for them. So, I think I'll have to actually stain their poor oak floors right back into the 80's🤷 That being said, a little yellowing would be fine. If Basic Pro is on par with Mega, then I'll likely go that route as I can pick it up for $62/gallon, as opposed to $102 for Mega, or $110 for Mega One. Traffic would sure be nice, but I'd be working for 🥜's if I went that route. Such a competitive market here. The client got 5 quotes, of which I was the most expensive, and I bid 25% under the industry standard! I bid $5800, and one guy bid only $3500! How TF can you refinish 1500sf of oak floors and a staircase for $3500? Probably would have gone like this: -Sand with 26 -Sand with 80 -Roll on a coat of Varathane with a $2 roller from Dollarama -Hop in his 1992 Dodge Caravan -Crack a warm Budweiser from under the seat. -Drive home -Then email an invoice for $4200. Bona NordicSeal x2 coats = lovely silver white. Then Bona Traffic HD with 2 coats is very good over 2 coats of Bona Sealer (they work together to 'build' up the film). Loba 2K Duo = WS 2K Supra = Ok...but not Bona Traffic HD level. You really need to work with the HIGHER priced Loba 2K Supra AT...it's the only one worth looking at. The 2K Invisible AT isn't tough enough for most people...and it has issues with showing haze and foot prints. The US customers are not very happy with the Invisible

Many people have had a 'poly plywood' floor last a decade or more. The finish is part of that. The wear through is the other part. Plywood should have the 3-coat system (which you are going to do). It needs maintenance (buff and coat) a snick earlier than solid hardwood. That's where the 10 years mark comes in. As a commercial space the 10 year mark is common to see a buff and coat done anyways. Just be prepared for it. The one downside of polyurethaned plywood = you have to pull it up if you ever want something else. All that work you put into that surface will need to come out before anything else goes down.
