ocelaris(7a) - I live in Teaneck and have been slowly going Zoysia with plugging 2 summer straight. If you still have that lawn I would gladly take your Zoysia. Let me know how you would want to do this I have a plugger and a old VAN I have always been askng for someone who would want to get rid of their Zoysia . I would make 300 to 400 plugs. If you let me would be cheaper and faster. Then you can either replace the Zoysia with Blue Fescue plugs or seed. What ever works but I don't mine the hay like look as it looks great all other times

I can only talk about Australia, but the situation is probably similar. I am the treasurer and general dogs body of an orchid society with about 70 members. Some things you need to think about Incorporation. This makes the orchid society a distinct entity Insurance. A must. no insurance and you run terrible risks in this age where it is always the fault of someone else if an accident occurs. Affiliation. Our Society is affiliated with the Australian Orchid Council via the state governing body . All this means is that we can have orchid shows judged by AOC Judges and that our members and our Society can enter orchids in governing body shows. Viability. You need x number of members for a viable orchid society, Annual Accounting returns. Yuk. needed here, but only for the government, not the AOC. Contact the American Orchid Society and ask for information on how to start a new society.

we all cross this bridge with indoor TREES!!!! time to buy spousey a new babe... and youth-in-ize grandpa ... wrapping the roots might help.. but that would obviously not protect tender foliage .... i presume.. since its inside .. and probably eating up you house... it will stay for now ... but you better get a grip on reality.. and understand.. that at 10 foot or more next year.. it will not be coming indoors.. and be left to the vagaries of mother nature... and she is a cruel mistress ... sooner or later.. its gotta go ... ken

Our island has a trash pullout at the end so I would assume a spice pullout would be no different ... it should be fine at the end. Re. seating, hopefully others will see answer authoritatively but I believe I've read the minimum recommended overhang (for comfort) is 15" for counter height and 18" for bar height seating. Not sure what the formal recommendation are for spacing between seats, but from experience 2' is doable although up to 2'6" is much more comfortable. That is, you could certainly put 4 people at an 8' bar and it's not bad, but there can be some tightness re. elbow room. If you can do 3+1 in the roughly the same space it's a lot more comfortable for everyone, and more conducive to chatting re. the corner seating. So if you have 36"+24"+6", and you were to add 15"-18" overhangs, that would give you a counter size of 7' x 3.5' (or close to it) which would seat 4 (3+1) quite comfortably.
